Ranko huffed a sigh, the movement causing the fabric of her outfit to reveal it was stiffening in spots. "Yah, but all we've got to do is tell her she's going to be a grandmother. She'll be so busy waving those victory fans of hers we could get away with anything."
Her brother looked doubtful. "You sure she won't mind our..." He made some nebulous gesture, as if to indicate the closer than normal relationship of the parents.
His sister posed cockily. "Look, bro. We could go over to the Dark Side and she wouldn't care if it got her grandkids. Go ahead and tell me it isn't true."
"Yah, but we turn our backs and that kid will be brought up as perverted as we are."
"True." Ranko hesitated to admit that she didn't know if that was bad or not. Take a look at Mace Windu and as if he looked calm or merely constipated. No one could mistake that her mother wasn't having a good time, though.
Then she thought about what use her mother would put to any girl near Ranma and swiftly crossed that item off her list. Her brother had enough vices. He didn't need to add another one with mom throwing him at kids. She threw up her arms in a smiling surrender. "Well, that settles it, then. You and I need to know how to raise kids, and mom's the only one we know who raised Jedi. And there's only one way to distract her from worrying about her kids' sex lives and how to elaborate upon them."
"Obi-Wan." The twins nodded together.
Sitting in a fluffy chair, Ranma rubbed his chin in thought. "He's got to still be alive. No one knew the backwoods parts of the galaxy half as well as he did."
Ranko slid down beside her brother, still not ready to let the refreshed contact go. "He had to. No one else had MOM, of all people, tracking them that long."
Really, it was amazing they didn't have a family of twelve.
Her brother nodded, still deep in thought. "Yes, I think Bail may know something. He's let slip a few hints in conversation that he might."
