Zeus's ball: Ranma does something stupid, what else is new. [Episode 4767]

“Yes, but the influence of the ball will prevent them from even thinking of it. As it did with its presumed original owner, it exerts a profound affect on the male mind. They lose any inhibitions or cultural taboos that might get in the way of their satisfying their most basic of urges. Any male inside that barrier will have one thing, and one thing only on their mind, and as long as they do, the ball will continue to exert it’s influence. Or, at least, that is what I believe to be the case. This situation has never arisen before so, of course, I can not predict with any guarantee of accuracy.”

“But girls ain’t affected by the ball?” Ranma asked, a speculative look on his face. His voice was slightly muffled as he chewed on something.

“No, that is not true. They are affected, just not in the same way as the men. The ball makes them . . . more receptive, and enhances their pleasure. They do, however, retain more control of themselves, and can attempt to do things other than make the beast with two backs. A female could put the ball back in the bag, if the men let her get to it.”

“That’s all I need to know,” Ranma said with a grin, swallowing whatever he’d been eating. Moving toward the barrier he raised the container of bottled water he had slipped from Kasumi’s bag, and had been hiding behind his back.

“You idiot! Stop!” Cologne cried out, to late. Ranma’s body shifted, grew smaller, and a red-headed girl reached out and touched the barrier, and was gone, just like that.”

Everyone stared in shock at the barrier. Ukyou swallowed nervously. “It should be ok, right? It’s only Mousse, Ranma beats him all the time.”

• Ranma suceeds. Everything goes back to normal
• Shampoo jumps after Ranma.
• Cologne jumps after Ranma.
