"...What a fool..didn't he realize sealing usch powerful relics inside a young body would kill the poor child?" Primus muttered in disgust.
" Apparantly the thief...wasn't big on brains...even if he didn't know that ths sealing procedure was painful...why would he do it a child especially his own?" Livia wondered aloud.
" We may never know, so Preistess Livia will the boy live?"
Livia nodded. " Yes Primus..his spirit is strong and I sense an undying will within him. He's very unqiue for a child even if he's human."
(Note: That wasn't a pregitious remark, the Kryn have barely had contact with humans and I oubt they saw many of the 'the few, the strong, the good' examples. Also if this makes no sense don't worry about it. ^^;)
" I see, so what do you mean to do with the child once he's recovered?"
" Primus I dare say it would be unwise to hand him over to the theif, nor can we just find a place to drop him off for other humans to find him. He has a powerful set of our ancestrial artifacts within his body and thus needs to learn how to control them. I take it upon myself to take him in, and raise him."
Primus blinked, he wasn't quite expecting that. " Are you certain you wish to take on such a task? I mean you have your hands full training and co-raising your apprentice Tanya."
" It is because I have had experienced in helping to raise Tanya is why I insist I do this." Livia explained, and looked at Primus somewhat pleadingly. " Please Primus, as our law decrees unless chosen by the King for his bride the Priestess cannot marry...and I was not chosen. Even though I was happy for my friend who became the King's wife, I am forever bond never to court nor marry and I always wanted children...in a way this not only gives me the oppertunity to help the child with his powers...but..also a chance at being a parent." Livia blushed and looked away. "..I'm sorry I sound petty asking for such a thing.."
Primus shook his head. " You are not petty, it is a common want, and I cannot fault you there." The old Kryn then smiled. " Very well if that is as you wish, your request is approved."
(AN: Stryyp maybe the Prince but we can assume Primus helpped handle matters of state till he was old enough to do so alone.)
Livia smiled. " Thank you Primus.."
Meanwhile in the medical bay, Ranma groaned as he regained conciousness. He felt sore ALL over....whatever Papa did hurt alot..
" Hey he's waking up." A boy's voice sounded.
"...Wonder why he's bandaged up?" Came a girl's.
Ranma grunted and turned his head toward the voices, once his eyes focused he saw..two cat-looking kids peeking from the doorway. The boy was obviously tiger-like while the girl had black fur with white patches on her face, hair, and forearms.
As destiny had planned, Ranma had met two people who would be estensial in his life.
