Urd shrugged at him. "Sorry, but it's in character."
"But..."
"Yes?"
"This is silly! I'm supposed to fight in evening wear?"
"Hey, this is the way the rules are. I didn't make them, but I sure am going to follow them."
"For the first time, I'm sure."
"What was that?"
"Oh... Nothing!"
"Good."
Belldandy stepped back from where she had been kneeling before him. "It shouldn't take much to fix them right up."
"Thanks Bell. Unlike some people, you can always be counted on to help."
"It's no problem, really."
"Yeah, well, our dashing young man here is going to need to be in tip top shape for when he helps the girls."
"'Dashing'?"
"He is dressed in a tux," the eldest Norn commented offhandedly.
With a slight blink, the Goddess of the Present gazed at her beloved and this time paid attention to the way he looked in his tuxedo. Without the immediate distraction of work in the way, she saw the whole package. And she did have to admit that he did look good in it...
"You're... very handsome, Keiichi," complimented Belldandy with a blush.
Chuckling nervously, he rubbed the back of his head. "You... really think so?"
"Hm-hmm. I think that you look very good in that..."
"Uh... thanks."
"Love birds," commented Urd in a mumur while:
