Which was NOT likely to happen, which left her choice B...
B: Get married and take over the throne with her husband.
" But Mom, that's impossible, Jeremy's going out with Ichikoo, and we had a fight and not on good terms, how'm I supposed to find a husband within 48 hours before the deadline?" Asrial said, explaining how the latter choice was not easy.
" I see Asrial." Shiva said sighing, then she blinked recalling a trump card, she smiled. " On second thought....there IS a way.."
" Huh?"
" Asrial about 20 some years ago when your Father and I were taking a vacation on Earth I made a bargin with a man. For a cheese and balonga sandwich and a diet pepsi he would promise his child to be the betrothed to a child of the royal Salusian family."
" WHA? Mom how could you do that?"
" Let me finish Asrial." Shiva said calmly. " This man is the Father of someone you know well." Her smile was almsot blinding. " HThe name of the man is Genma Saotome, the father of your friend Ranma Saotome, and according to this document signed by Genma and myself..Ranma is legally your finacee." She then pulled out a docment that was lamenated.
Asrial's eyes widened. " Ra...RANMA'S MY FINACEE? Why did you tell me before?!"
Asrial had met the pigtailed fighter during the timewarp fiasco, when Ryan, Arnie, Ranma and herself were sent to 13th century Europe. They met again on and off especially when he was with the Diggers sisters. The last they met was during the Dragon Blade incident.
" Simply I couldn't find Genma...he's a sneaky bastard of a human I hear. Anyway when your Father set up the thing with Jeremy I decided to keep quiet about it since all Genma got from me was a sandwich and soda. But now it seems my deal with Genma will comein handy."
" Bu..but I just can't show up at Ranma's home and ask him to marry me on the spot!"
"Why not I know you have a large crush on him." Shiva teased.
Asrial reddened. " How'd you know...?"
" Asrial honey...I've SEEN the pictures of him you've hidden in your room here and on earth. I'm a mother I know these things. Besides he might feel something for you, from what he's told me he's saved you a few times and been very friendly."
Asrial just blushed more and shook her head. " I guess..its worth a shoot."
Back on Earth, Ranma was relaxing atop the Tendo Dojo, he just got back from a two-week training trip he spent training under Julia Diggers....and he was thankful he had another 2 weeks to recover!
" Man Sensei sure knows how to work you..." He groaned a bit tired from the near constant training he undertook. " Heh leats now I've gotten three new techniques under my belt to keep the idiots at bay." Ranma chuckles.
Then he shivered and sneezed. "ACHOOOO! Man..somebody must be thinking about me."
