Ranma's defect, or is it? [Episode 49948]

When Iceron created the were-creatures, he purposely made them vulnerable to two things, silver and magic, making it so that silver would burn their very soul and the physical healing of silver wounds would be slower, and wounds due to magic or magical items would also heal at a slower rate. Iceron could have fixed these 'defects' or design flaws, what ever you want to call them, but he didn't. The question that many people think when they hear about this is, 'Why didn't he fix those weaknesses?' The answer to that question is simple. Were-creatures could become a threat to him if any turned on him, and there weren't any inherent weaknesses in them.

The wererats, the first of the were-races, turned on him, proving to him that he was right in not trusting them completely. And so he made the other races with the same design flaws. After many years Iceron vanished, thought to be dead by all, but no one knows for sure. (A.N. This is a blatant opening for any future authors to write him in as either good guy or villain, it doesn't matter which)

Eighteen years ago, to the day, a young boy was born to the werecheetah Nodoka Saotome, and her husband, Genma Saotome (who didn't know his wife was a werecheetah). The boy was named Ranma, and he had a birth defect, though one that was not exactly noticeable, silver didn't affect him like other were-creatures, nor would magical damage (though since curses aren't exactly 'damage' per se, he can still get those).
