Bad move for Akane.
Ranma simply moved to one side, grabs the mallet, and "helped" Akane along. Strongly.
The youngest Tendo, heir to the Tendo School of Anything-Goes Martial Arts, suddenly finds herself moving much faster, moving through the wall with an almost sickening crunch before finally landing in the Koi Pond.
"Ranma...." the deep, warning voice comes from the pigtailed martial artist's father. "You must apologize to Akane."
"No." Ranma's reply is quiet, but surprisingly icy, as he shifts his grip on the mallet.
The wizard does a double take on something that apparently only he sees, and quickly moves back from the impending confrontation.
An instant later, Soun rises, his rage towering. "YOU WILL APOLOGIZE TO AKANE AND TAKE HER BACK!"
Followed by a quiet thud as the mallet carries Soun into the opposite wall. He quietly slides down to the floor, murmuring something about pretty birdies and the Master. "The agreement is that I marry a Tendo. It doesn't necessarily have to be that Tendo."
Genma considers for a moment, with a glance over to his fallen long-time friend, and slowly nods. "Then who will it be, son? Who is your new fiancé?"
"I choose...."
