"Rowr?" tried Ranma. "Meow? I don't get it."
"Lions are proud warriors, noble hunters," said Simba, leaving scavengers and bullies among other things off the list. "We kick butt and don't even bother taking names."
Ranma nodded eagerly, then realized from his position riding the lion that his new friend couldn't see him. "Cool!"
Genma eyed the lion nervously. This wasn't quite the Catfist as it was described in the manual.
Simba was about ready for a musical number about the Circle Of Life but he refrained. "Now the thing is, pride can be used like a weapon against you. So you have to have pride in yourself, but you have to be able to let it go - so it doesn't get used against you. Boy, have I had experience in that."
"Yeah," agreed Ranma. It was really neat the way they came to a crowded intersection and the crowd just seemed to melt away from them.
"Since lions are noble, the practitioner of a lion-fist should be noble too," suggested Simba. "Ferocious when you need to be, quiet when there's no need to be loud, that sort of thing."
"Uh huh."
"Hey, I've got an idea," suggested Simba.
