Genma's Wish: Genma's Hair [Episode 5090]

Wealth was nice, but carrying too much money would only slow them down. And if he were to deposit his newfound wealth in a bank, it may not be there for him to collect a decade later, when Ranma was fully trained in the Art. Genma shivered as he saw a super-deformed Picholet Chardin walk into an equally SD bank in his mind's eye. Strangely enough, the money in the vision wasn't deformed, which only served as deterrant.

So wishing for fortune was out. Should he try to make his son MANLY?

Genma thought long and hard on this. On the one hand, there was some important reason for Ranma becoming a Man Amongst Men. On the other, he couldn't remember what it was, for the life of him, only that it involved his neck in some way. All Genma got was a strange chill going through his spine whenever his thoughts broached the subject. To say that the feeling made him uncomfortable was quite an understatement, and in a sudden strike of clairvoyance, he decided avoiding any changes to his son's manliness through magical means.

Wasting the wish to turn his son into a superb martial artist was out of the question, of course. After all, was he not on a training trip with Ranma for that very purpose? To think that another could do better than he was preposterous!

Of course, that left--

"I wish to have hair!" Genma exclaimed, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Hair amongst hair, so that it stands as a shining beacon of manliness atop my head, as a sign of awe and envy for mortal men!"

The Dragon looked at Genma, then snorted and disappeared.

Genma blinked. He certainly didn't feel any different. Hell, there wasn't even any speech, twirling colors or naked transformation sequences. He'd been had!

Cursing the blasted beast for deceiving him so and taking away valuable time that could have been better spent training or eating, Genma was about to call out to his son, when he felt something he hadn't felt for a long time.

A breeze gently caressing the tips of his hair. His HAIR. HIS hair.

Dancing in joy and laughing madly, Genma didn't realize immediately that there was something... different... in his son. For some reason, the boy looked... he looked....

Genma suddently realized that Ranma's mane was out of its braid and pointed, exactly like his new hair. And it was also...
