"I wish I had friends like Ucchan but I wouldn't have to leave 'em behind," said the little tyke.
The dragon considered the child briefly, his eyes glowing blue.
"But Ucchan's a boy," protested Ranma.
The dragon vanished in a flash of blue light.
Genma stared, then began "training" his boy with a 2x4. "Stupid Boy! You wasted the wish!"
She rubbed absently on the dragon tattoo that she couldn't clearly remember getting. Ranma needed her. If only she was strong enough to defeat Genma and end his evil!
"Who's Ranma?" Mousse asked, though everyone else in the class was also wondering this.
Shampoo touched the area of her dragon tattoo. "Ranma is my future husband. The joy of my life. A true man. The person who will be my best friend and soul mate. Not a blind idiot like you!"
There was much speculation on where this had come from.
Mrs Tendo looked down at her eight year old daughter. "Oh? Who's that?"
Kasumi smiled nicely at her mother and father. "Ranma Saotome!"
Soun spit out a large gout of tea and began coughing.
Six year old Nabiki frowned at her older sister as her mother started trying to get her father to the point where he could breathe. "I wanna marry Ranma!"
Five year old Akane frowned at her older sisters. "Boys are icky. Except Ranma. He's gonna be my boyfriend!"
Soun began choking and hacking even worse.
Kodachi stopped and straightened herself. Her True Love was out there. A diamond in the rough to be sure. Yet Ranma Saotome was for her - and someday, somehow, some way - her prince would at last come.
She would be strong and true and hold on for that day.
Five year old Makoto suddenly knew with absolute certainty who her sempai would be.
Six year old Michiru finished her painting of her soulmate, her own destined love. Her Ranma.
One year old Hotaru stopped crying and realized that her boyfriend was older than she was.
Setsuna Meiou looked at the Gate Of Time and felt a migraine coming on.
In other places, other times, the Call was heard.
some people might consider this dark. It isn't strictly Ranma+Akane, and by some definitions - that means it is dark. personally, i disagree, but i leave it open to your interp.
