Ryouga, with his single mindedness, had not even begun to recognize the changes from the norm. Nor the momentary flaring of the wind up key in Nabiki's hands.
Thus, there is only a short, agonizing scream as the blinding white light lashes out from the end of the windup key, as Ryouga suddenly seems to be an X-Ray for a brief moment, then literally evaporates out of existence.
Ranma rolls to his feet after finally landing, eyes on where P-Chan had been, now marked only by a few whisps of vapor.
And the now missing wall behind where he had been.
And the wall behind that, on the opposite side of the hallway.
And out into the open air overlooking the front yard of the Tendo home.
