Greenish grey skin altered to become pale but at least of a normal hue, stringy and greasy hair looked slightly better, groans and moans sounded more like "oh this really hurts" as opposed to "brainsss brainsss" or something similar.
Ami smiled. Her fiance (though she hadn't mentioned this little detail yet) was so useful. Ooooh! He also had leaned over to help a couple of former zombies up and his pants had gotten tight right there and... oh yeah. Had it gotten hot here?
Uranus frowned but realized that this boy got his powers from that bracer. Therefore she'd hit that with a "World Shaking" when the inevitable betrayal occurred and it was revealed that this was all a plot by the Forces Of Evil™ etc.
"BOY! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"
"WHAAAAA! MY POOR BABIES! SAOTOME! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Needless to say, now that the danger was past, two fathers had come out of hiding and were berating Ranma.
"YOU!"
Everyone stared at Ami?! AMI?! Yelling. More oddly, she had changed from Sailor Mercury to her civilian ID while no one was looking and was advancing on the two fathers as if she were five foot two of feminine outrage. Hmmm. Well. Actually, she was five foot two of feminine outrage.
Ranma and the other Senshi melted out of the way as the shy, polite, intellectual girl in their midst proved that she was human too.
"It is you," Ami said as she stalked forward. "The evil fat man! The one who took my Rannie!"
"Uhm? I don't know..." Genma began, beginning to back up.
"Rannie?" Ranma asked of Jupiter. Jupiter shrugged and indicated she had absolutely no idea what was going on.
"You engaged him to me when you and my mother were in high school, then you had my mother fix him up after you threw him into a pit of feral cats, and THEN you stole him away," Ami expository dialogued as she backed the much larger man towards a section of house that hadn't been damaged.
"'Pit of feral cats'?" inquired Venus with a glance towards Jupiter.
"That sounds like the 'Cat Fist' training," said Pluto as if speculating.
"No, it couldn't be. NOBODY is stupid and evil enough to..." Jupiter's voice trailed off as Ami, Setsuna, Ranma, Soun (hey, it wasn't him about to get layers of skin ripped off) all nodded. "...oh dear..."
"The Cat Fist?" Uranus frowned. "Excuse me. Miss Civilian? Could you step out of the way? There's an evil being over there and you're in my line of fire."
"Are you sure about this?" Neptune asked, ready to back her lover up but also expressing her concern about shooting normal people.
"If he trained his student in the Cat Fist, he is not normal," said Uranus. "In order to do something like that he had to rise above mere human levels of stupidity!"
"...why is it that for a secret technique everyone from the Old Ghoul to typical black belts knows about it?" Ranma asked of no one in particular.
