[Episode 52117] [Episode 52117]Happosai had thrown another fit, probably started by Ranma's "Spoiling his fun." Then he got the bright idea to pretend he had the right as grandmaster to move Ranma's engagement to Soun.
Apparently Happosai had a recipe for wedding sake that made Spanish Fly look like apple juice, and he'd rather film a female Ranma than Akane on the honeymoon as he had done for Genma's and for Soun's first honeymoon.
Soun had kicked Ranma out of the house, and caused havoc whenever it looked like a fiancee might offer him a futon.
Finally Happosai was distracted by an out of town lingerie fashion show, and they dragged Ranma back home.
Then Akane clobbered him for being a pervert.
Then he found the book. If Ryouga, Kuno or Mousse had found it, especially after such provocation, it would be extremely likely that someone would have become a sex-slave.
But Ranma had grown up with this kind of treatment, considering it just a bit worse than normal. Also he was a late developer, sexually speaking, and while he did get horny, he wouldn't suffer to the extent of his classmates for a year or two.
So instead of binding someone to satisfy his desires, he just wanted revenge. Pranks; serious pranks perhaps, but nothing as permanent and severe as his Jhusenkyo curse people loved to tease him about.
This did leave a lot of leeway, however, and with the book he suddenly had a lot of options.
