Hibiki Tokai was not usually a mornig person. Usually, he'd try to sleep as long as he could. Waking meant facing things that he'd like to leave to others for the moment. And he'd been having a rather nice dream.

But his sleep was ending and that meant a new morning was upon him. That meant he'd have to get out of bed. So he began to do so, when he realized:

that today was someone's birthday!
he wasn't alone in the bed?!
that something important was happening today.
that he didn't know where he was.
that they were under attack!
that something else was going on.
