Ranma had carefully manipulated things so that he could talk to Shampoo alone. The Father's were out bathing as the bath was broken again. Akane was with her friends. Nabiki and Kasumi were at home. A few select words with the old ghoul and he had a private moment with Shampoo.
"Shampoo, too too glad having date with Airen!" Shampoo said gladly. She cuddled closer to her beloved.
"Shampoo, I have something to tell you. "You really, really like me. You like me as much as you possibly can". Ranma said.
"Shampoo likes Ranma as much as Shampoo can." Shampoo said in a subdued voice as she was placed under Ranma's hypnotic vocal control. But in her mind she was falling as deeply in love with Ranma as she could, since love is the deepest like there was.
"You are also very loyal to Ranma. He is your first loyalty. Even before your Amazon loyalties."
"Shampoo loyal to Airen." Shampoo said, as he loyalties so that ranma was central to her world.
"You want to make me as happy as possible. You get happier by making me happier. You will also help me as much as possible as that too will make you happier." Ranma said, hoping that this would help him with the fiancee problems.
"Shampoo become happy by making Ranma happy and helping Ranma." It was obvious to her that Ranma as the center of her universe should be kept happy. She would devote her life to this work. Shampoo smiled at the thought.
Ranma was done with the stuff he thought might make his life easier. His next move was...
