Daishi understood that he had been defeated many a times by the werecheetah. He had thought her on close to equal terms time and again, and once, she had literally broken two-hundred of his bone, and broke his spine in three places. "Now THAT was very difficult to heal and bounce back from..." He grumbled to himself.
Still, Daishi realized had done well for himself. The 'treatments' Lord Talon had performed on him were revealed to be fake, showing Daishi that the level of strength and skill he had were all true, and all thanks to his diligent training.
And once... Once... With the use of Ionis's silver-framed glasses, Daishi was able to defeat his adversary Cheetah, literally stopping her in one punch. "But still... Even that victory felt somewhat hollow to me..." Daishi thought with a sigh.
And that is why Galford Suto, aka Daishi, had come to Japan. He needed to grasp at his routes. He needed to put himself into deep meditation. After all, this time he was bound and determined to train like he hadn't trained in years, concentrating on not only his physical body, but on his mind and soul as well.
But still... Why Daishi, for meditation, would choose to go and sit on a lawn-chair on top of a building in NERIMA... Well, it had to do with two reasons. First, there was the fact that Daishi has gotten used to constant action going on around him. And he can't relax unless there is some form of distraction.
"Like that old perverted being chased by a mob of nubile young women..." Daishi pointed out mentally. His eyes wandered. "Or that Chinese boy with the thick glasses who can't seem to see a thing... And then there's that purple-haired woman who's bicycle seems to hit and run over things with more force than a Humvee..."
For all things considered... Even if he didn't get much training in... This would have at least been a very, VERY interesting trip at least. "Never a dull moment."
Finally having enough 'meditation', Daishi sat up from his lawn-chair and stretched. Now, it was time for the second reason Daishi had chosen to come to Nerima. "BATTLE..."
Daishi knew that Nerima was rather (in)famous for its collection of High-class, (and Low-class) martial artists, who had all sorts of unexpected and unorthodox techniques. Basically, it was garunteed that Daishi would come across some sort of fighting technique he was not used to.
And so, Daishi started to leave the roof, but noticed something in the corner of his eye. A glinting. Turning his head, Daishi saw a gold ring on the roof. "What is this doing out here?"
Walking over to the small trinket, Daishi picked the ring up between his thumb and forefinger. "Hmm... Rather simple design..." Daishi muttered. As he looked at the ring, studied it for a bit, he mumbled, "Looks like it's masculine in its design..."
For the sheer hell of it, Daishi slid the ring onto his right ring-finger. He admired it for a bit, but then his eyes widened in shock as he saw that the ring was grafting onto his finger... Althought it was not that an unpleasent a feeling.
Then a beam opf black-lighting shot out from the ring, and struck the ground before Daishi. And then, what appeared was a blue-haired girl, in what looked like a Kunoichi outfit... Only there was nothing covering her legs or arms. "Hello, Master." The girl said. "I am Carla, Kunoichi Genie of Darkness and Deception."
Blinking his eyes once, then twice, Daishi said, "You've got to be kidding me..." He then raised an eyebrow. "Wait. Aren't you one of Julia Brigand-Diggers's students?"
"I was, Master." Carla confessed. "But then this mean Undead Knight bound me and nine others into rings, turning us into Ring Genies."
Daishi raised the other eyebrow. "Oh? So there are more like you are now? Is there a possibility that the werecheetah, Britanny Diggers, was also changed into a Genie?"
"Yes, she was, Master." Carla confessed, having to do as her master asked of her because of the geas placed on her. "Though I do not know what her powers are, or even where she is."
Daishi smiled. Oh, what fun. A Chance to fight a powered-up werecheetah... And possibly even have a slight measure of revengee by having her call him, 'Master'. "Do you know where we can find Britanny?"
"I'm very sorry, Master, but I can't just lead you to her." Carla admitted. "I can only feel energies of the other rings, and I cannot decypher which is Britanny's."
"It's all right." Daishi said. "Just lead me to the closest one, and we'll have to check them one by one."
"All right, Master." Carla said. "For the closest powers I feel... I feel one ring off in that direction... And in another, I feel two rings... And they're moving."
Daishi nodded his head. "Someone must be searching for these rings as well."
"What should we do, Master?" Carla asked.
"Simple." Daishi said. "We'll..."
