[Episode 53115] [Episode 53115]The technique Shampoo used was basically meant to aid concentration and cogitation by altering the ki flow within the body, shunting more power to the thought processes, as it were. However, it was never meant to be applied in this way. It was intended as a support measure, to be used before periods of meditation or important analysis and planning sessions - neither of which described Nabiki's mental state.
The endorphines and hormones in her blood stream were making Nabiki dazed, giddy and rather horny. The sudden, drastic swelling of her breasts coupled with the heavy lactation should have shocked and possibly scared her. Instead she had started giggling and playing with her milky tits. In a moment of clarity she had realized that this was out of character for her, and now she got scared.
The fear that her mind - the one thing she treasured most about herself - was being destroyed scared her enough to stop playing with her tits and cunt and seek help instead. Running through Nerima in a milk-soaked nightshirt to get help at the Nekohanten was, of course, not the most intelligent action. This and the fact that she got distracted several times along the way, starting to giggle and play with herself again before she remembered where she was going, only served to scare her more.
The emotional turmoil caused by this, made it even harder for her to think clearly. Emotionally she see-sawed between giddy giggling and naked fear, while her rational thoughts were fuzzy and running in circles. This was the state of Nabiki's mental processes, when Shampoo used her shiatsu technique, which she only remembered vaguely as an "intelligence enhancing" procedure.
Feeding more power into an unstable, wildly fluctuating system is not generally considered a good way to stabilize it.
Poor Nabiki, who was currently swinging back to the dazedly happy end of her emotional spectrum, experienced what it means to have your mind unravel into complete incoherence.
