Ranma sighed as he looked over his room one last time. He didn't want to leave...but..he had too, knew deep down if he stayed...his problems would become harder to resolve...if not go away at all.
After the entire Aebra fiasco, going solo and out of control, Ranma knew he had problems to resolve. Namely his inability to deal with life outside of martial arts, his emotions, and...to purge himself of his still linger feeling for Britanny Diggers.
Damn.....even after she was married, even when he helped resolve the situation that arose when Raphiel showed up he still found himself wishing...otherwise.
He then heard his door creak open, turning, he saw his Sensei, Julia Diggers in a bathrobe. " Yes Sensei?"
Julia eyed his duffel bag, then Ranma himself...she knew instantly what was going on. " Your leaving?" She then looked at his cloak on the nightstand, then the window. " At this hour..and in this weather?"
" Sensei...I..I gotta...if I stay here I don't think my problems will resolve themselves. I need to get away for a time to get over Britanny for good, get to gripes with life and control my emotions."
Julia was about to say something, but Ranma held up a hand. " I know what your going to say....yes I know everyone is willing to help me, but...I gotta do this alone. I just feel...if they try to help Gina & Brianna will just coddle me, and I still dunno how to face Brit or Stripe right now."
Julia nodded in understanding, she knew there was no talking him out of it now. " I understand Ranma, you need to do this yourself as to better understand who you are, and how to better yourself. While I personally rather not see you go...I know that you need to do this."
Ranma smiled lightly. " Thanx for understanding Sensei..and sorry bout cutting my training short..."
" No, you haven't..honestly Ranma there's nothing more I can teach you skill wise, I still have a few philosophical, and personal lessons to teach, but you can mold your own. While I really have no formal way to graduate you as a full-fledged student of my style, I give you my blessing. Congradulations Ranma, your now your own Sensei."
" Sensei...I..I'm honored." Ranma mangaed to choke out.
Julia merely gave a motherly smile and hugged Ranma gently. " An honor you deserve. All I ask of you is to take care of yourself and contact us regularly if you can. Your a part of the family Ranma, everyone in this home loves you dearly, to Theo & I your the son we never had, to the girls a brother and trusted frind whom they always can depend on."
Ranma found himself sniffling, lightly burying his face in Julia's robe to drown out the tears and small sad-sobs from his throat. They say leaving is always hard, and they weren't kidding.
Julia held Ranma letting him cry and purge himself of his pent up emotions, seeing him like this, she now understood what Brianna meant when he seemed so fragile when emotionally upset."
Ranma lifted his eyes and wiped his eyes. " S..sorry.."
" Shhh don't apologise, its only human to cry." Julia said soothingly, and kissed his cheek. " Go, know we all love you and that you're always welcome in our family."
Ranma gave Julia a tight hug. " Thank you so much....I promise..I'll do my best..."
Letting go, and before his emotions make him chicken out of leaving, Ranma grabs his duffel bag and races to the door, bio-boosts and runs out into the rain, and then takes the the skies.
Julia stared out the window as Guyver-Ranma flew off. " Good luck Ranma..."
Guyver-Ranma thought about his destination as he flew off...maybe he should go to...
