The slightly off-color sunlight of this non-Earthen world shown through the open window, slowly bringing Ranma to wakefulness. The first thing he noticed in his early-morning grogginess was that he was obviously not alone. His body was firmly entangled with another. Soft, velvety, and furry flesh gave slightly to his inquisitive touches.
Furry?
For a second, his thoughts froze. Could it really be true? Could he and Britanny finally have...?
He opened his eyes, and saw Brianna's face staring at him. Then the confusion set in as the memories of last night rushed into his mind.
He knew all too well what had happened. But now his thoughts concentrated on one thing: Now what?
It was at this exact moment that Brianna's eyes fluttered open. It took her several seconds before her own memories of the previous night returned. She looked at Ranma, a her face showing open vulnerability. "Ranma..."
Ranma cupped her cheek in his palm. "Brichan... what does this mean... I mean... what do we do now...?"
"Ranchan..."
