For two weeks Ranma wandered about, mostly speeding time alone in the wilderness training. Yet bandits liked forests for hideouts so he ran into them alot..so much hea had to be in his Guyver form 70% of the time so he wouldn't be killed in his sleep.
But being a bio-boosted human had perks...speaking ow which allowed him to mow through several bandit gangs, from dumbass amateurs to pros of the theives guild. He also found himself playing super hero a bit, stopping maruders attacking a Hamlet, wasting Undead who crossed over from the Undead realm, or whatever scum came his way.
The name 'Guyver' was becomming widespread on Jade, the unknown super being was revered as a 'mysterious hero' like those from old tales told over a fire. Even the various Militia and Edge Guard groups were impressed by the hero.
As for Ranma himself, he lived in the outskirts of Seer's Hamlet by setting up camp in the woods. While he certainly had the money to buy a place to live he was still sorting a few things out before he could let himself live in the city.
Meanwhile in a tavern in Seers Hamlet.
" ...And KAPOWIE, he knocks out this fat, very ugly orge mage sending him flying into a manur cart...BY flicking him on the nose!"
" Sheesh Sheila we know, we WERE also there remember?" Tigra groused as he took a sip of ale. Ever since that Guyver guy saved Sheila's butt during an attack, she'd been hero worshipping him/whatever it was.
" Well our jobs have certainly been a bit easier with the Guyver helpping keep Jade safe from scum." Thropan chuckled as he took a sip from his wine glass. ' We still face trouble, but the major nasties have been KO'd by Jade's newest hero."
" I wonder when Onoli is gonna get our newest assignment from Gaja." Gar mumbled half heartedly.
Sheils tsk'd. " Gar, Gar, still pinning over a lost cause, Gar you need to get a gripe alright?" She loved her brother but he took the whole Britanny thing a bit far.
" Yeah whatever..." Gar replied not really thinking about what he said.
" Sorry to keep you all waiting, I have our pay from the last assignment and our latest quest." Onoli said to the group as he entered the tavern.
" Sweet, so what's the job?" Tiga asked.
" The case concerning the recent strings of mage kidnappings." Onoli said. " The kidnappers have apparently have started kidnapping people fro his Hamlet."
" Damn, any I.D. on the kidnappers yet?" Thropan inquired, while studying his wine glass.
" Actually we have an I.D. now..." Onoli said. " Partially due to the Guyver's interferance with the last kidnapping. It appears that the mercenary Hanzo, some wart orge named Crunk that has a criminal rap-sheet a mile wide, and..G'nolga of the ten."
" WHAT? What's a Weaponsmaster doing kidnapping mages?" Sheila sreeched.
" I don't know, we might not run into her or her comrades anytime soon. When the Guyver showed up, G'nolga was punched in the ribs and sent through a building, Hanzo lost a hand and Crunk...don't ask..the fool tried to kill some kids by hurling some debris too distract the Guyver and well.....he was left a bloooy mess. In any case we're now on the case....let's get cracking team.
