"The Dynasty is a powerful force, with many drones and attackers. We're going to need all the help we can get." Archon continued as she sat, addressing the others.
"Well, Stripe has a rather high power level thanks to the artifacts he's got... and hopefully the Guyver with be enough to tip the scales in our favor." Ranma said.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that." Archon replied. "Stripe has yet to achieve the full limit of his abilities. And as powerful as the Guyver is, it has it's own weaknesses. Most notable is the fact that, if the control orb is removed, the body of the Guyver will decintigrate."
Ranma's eyes bugged out. "You mean that thing on my forehead?"
Archon nodded. "I've been studying the myths and legends of the Guyver for years. Most of the actual facts have faded into obscurity with time, but there are some truths which still remain."
Stripe piped up. "So what CAN you tell us?"
Archon nodded. "It is said that to be a Guyver is to live a life of conflict. Inescapably so, for that is the price you pay for the power. It is also said that, as long as the Control Orb is functional, a Guyver is all-but immortal."
"But I thought you said if it was removed, I'd die."
"I said your body would decintigrate. I did not say you would stay dead."
"I don't get it."
"Neither do I, but the legends often refer to the Guyver as 'that which defies even death.' So apparently there's something about the control orb which will keep you alive."
"Umm... guys?" Gina piped up. "Not to imply that I don't find this fascinating, but don't we have more direct concerns? Like how to oust the Dynasty from this planet?"
"Right, right." Archon said. "Sorry."
