But with time, Ranma had gotten quite used to it. He was starrting to feel at ease around Britanny, and she was, (oddly enough) making him feel incredibly relaxed.
Sighing, Ranma held his gaze with Britanny. "Britanny-san..."
"Y, yes?" Britanny asked.
Ranma blushed slightly, but knew he had to tell her how he felt. "I really appreciate you wanting to get to know me. In all honesty, I love the fact that you want to get to know me."
Smiling a little, Britanny said, "How could I not want to get too know you? You've been so kind to me. You've barely known me, yet you'v eliterally been making yourself jump through hoops to try and please me, and make my situation easier. I really, can't tell you how much I appreciate the effort."
Nodding his head, Ranma managed to smile back at the werecheetah. "What can I say? When I saw you for the first time, crying your eyes out... I knew I couldn't just leave you there alone. I wanted to do anything to help you, and stop those sad tears." Ranma smiled a little cockilly. "Plus, I kind of did want to make a new friend. Someone I could try and get along with, who wouldn't try to use me..." Ranma chuckled, "Although, in a way, I am letting myself be used, even though you don't command it."
Britanny's eyes widened in shock. "Then please, don't put yourself out of your way for me! I don't want you to inconvenience yourself just to be nice to me."
Ranma smirked. "That's just it. I don't see it as an inconvenience... AND I'm not just being nice to you." Ranma reached his hand forward across the table, placing it atop of Britanny's.
Her eyes widening in surprise, Britanny could swear she could hear her own heart pounding a mile a minute. "R, Ranma?"
Ranma smiled a little and massaged the top of Britanny's hand. "Relax, Britanny... Listen... I'm usually not good with words... But... I really got something to get off my chest that I want you to hear."
Britanny nodded her head. "What is it you want to tell me?"
Ranma stayed silent for a few minutes, just looking into Britanny's eyes and rubbing the top of her hand. "Britanny... You're the only person I've ever felt... 'Alive' around... I mean, holding you like I did earlier... I felt... I felt..." Ranma blushed considerably. "Well... 'Turned on'..."
Britanny blushed considerably. "I... I... Are you saying I can arouse you?"
Ranma blushed, a bit embarassed he admitted that to her. He nodded his head. "Yeah. I've literally had many women after me... You're the first to EVER make me feel like a man... Make me feel alive..." Ranma held Britanny's hand firmly, though not too tight. "The first to treat me with respect, and not as some sort of trophy... You talked to me, and spent time with me." Ranma chuckled sadly. "In one day, you've tried to, and have gotten to know me more than ANY of my fiancees had in the two years I've been here in Nerima."
Blushing so that it showed up from underneath her fur, Britanny asked, "Are you serious?"
"Very serious." Ranma said, his own blush deepening in shade. He smiled a bit. "Hard not to like someone as beautiful as you."
"Beautiful?" Britanny asked, her eyes wide with surprise. "You think I'm beautful?"
"Yeah. You've got such a beauty to you, that, even your cat-like looks don't scare me at all." Ranma said. He smiled a little. "I just wish your looks wouldn't stand out. I'd like to take you around the city for a tour, but I'm afraid of... People... Preaking..." Ranma trailed off and his eyes widened. "Br, BRITANNY!?"
Britanny blushed a little as she sat there. She had changed to her human form. She was now an inch taller than Ranma's female form, pointed ears, green eyes, and blonde hair with brown spots. "So, Ranma..." Britanny began with a bit of uncertainty. "What do you think?"
Ranma just stared at Britanny. He preferred her true form, but seeing her like this... Seeing her on almost equal standing. "So cute..."
Britanny blushed considerably. "You think I'm cute?"
"Very." Ranma said, smiling a bit at his admittance of that. "You're the cutest girl I've ever seen!"
Now Britanny was blushing quite deeply. She was always ashamed of her puny human form. She always felt vulnerable and just 'plain' when in her human form. But Ranma saw her as cute. "Ranma..." Britanny began.
"Yes?" Ranma asked.
Britanny smiled. "Thank you."
