"What do you mean Mr. Fujioka is going to be in the hospital for another week!?" Mr. Mudagami said in a slightly raised voice. "He was supposed to be out today!"
Natsuki chuckled a bit nervously. "Well, sir, you see... Eh heh... Batanen was looking at a nude female magazine... And it was there in sight... And..." Natsuki was gnawing on her lower lip in embarassment.
"Natsuki charred the guy with a volt of electricity." Ranma supplied helpfully.
"Rrrraannnnmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaa..." Natsuki semi-whined, as she was blushing in embarassment.
Mr. Mudagami sighed in disbelief. "All right, all right... We'll just have to do without Batanen for the time being." Turning his head to look at Ranma, Mr. Mudagami said, "Oh, Ranma, your uniform is ready."
Blinking his eyes once, then twice, Ranma asked, "I have to wear a uniform?"
"Yes." Mr. Mudagami supplied. "And don't worry. Accounting has allowed for me to give this to you, even though you haven't paid for it. The money will just come out of your first month's paycheck."
Ranma's eye-twitched, but he kept his mouth shut on the matter. "Thank you..."
Nodding his head, Mr. Mudagami looked over at Natsuki. "Ms. Sasahara, please show Mr. Saotome where the men's locker-room is. I believe he should get ready. After all, you're both signed up for patrol duty today."
"Patrol duty?" Ranma asked.
"Yes." Mr. Mudagami answered. "Shinjuku Marketplace."
"The Marketplace!?" Natsuki asked excitedly. "Oh boy! I needed to go down there anyway! THANKS CHIEF!"
And, before Mr. Mudagami could tell Natsuki not to waste her time, the Catgirl was already off, dragging Ranma to the men's locker-room. "I swear, sometimes, I just don't understand that girl..."

Leaning against a guard-rail, Natsuki waited patiently outside of the men's locker-room. It was on the top floor, (third floor) of the Police Company building, and like the women's locker-room, was at the front of the building, with windows that would allow a person to look out into the city... Of course, that allowed people to look back in as well. "I wonder why it was done that way..." Natsuki wondered.
However, Natsuki didn't have to wait much longer as the door to the men's locker-room opened, and out stepped Ranma! No longer in his usual Chinese clothing, Ranma was wearing a full Police Company Uniform. A white oxford shirt, red tie, gray fingerless gloves, kahki pants, white ankle-high boots with small shin guards, and to top it off, a black and blue vinyl jacket with a red wide-brim collar and the Police Company logo on the back.
Ranma looked down at himself and looked at Natsuki. "I feel like a tool."
"Oh, nonsense!" Natsuki said. "I think you look good!"
Ranma groaned, but accepted his fate. "Ah well... This is still better than being jobless..." Ranma thought. He then blinked as he noticed something off in the distance... A flash of... Violet-tinted platinum? What the hell?
Natsuki noticed Ranma staring at something. "Hey, Ranma, what is it?"
"Not sure..." Ranma finally said after some time. He shook his head and looked at his partner. "Hey, Natsuki, shall we get going?"
Natsuki nodded her head. "Sure thing! I need to get someone to look at that sword I had found."
Ranma blinked his eyes. "A sword?"
"Yeah! I found it just before you appeared." Natsuki explained.
"Ah. All right." Ranma said.

Sakura was once more holding a hand onto her chest and trying to control her breathing. "That's the third time he practically spotted me!" Sakura thought in shock. "How the heck is he doing it!?"
Peering over the side of the building she was on top of, Sakura watched as the pig-tailed boy and the catgirl made their way inside the building. She kept her watch and soon saw a set of garage doors on the side of the Police Company building open, and saw the two on a rocket-cycle, a side-car model. It also had a Police Company logo on it. "Ah, so the two are heading out?" Sakura wondered. She shrugged her shoulders. "No biggie. I'll just follow."
And so, Sakura began roof-hopping as she tailed the two from a distance. After all, she wanted that Catgirl's power... But how was she going to get that human away from her? "I'll think of something... Eventually..."
