Of course, Nodoka was feeling refreshed for another reason as well. A thought that made the Saotome Matriarch practically giddy with delight! The fact that Nodoka might get what she wanted more than anything in the world. "Grandchildren!"
Nodoka giggled to herself. Oh, was she ever in a good mood. A beautiful, exotic, unique woman had literally fallen into her son's lap, and they were taking a strong liking to each other already. "Strong enough that I might get my first set of grandchildren within a year!"
And so, as she walked down a hallway, Nodoka literally had a skip to her step. True, she wanted grandchildren, but there was another fact Nodoka could take into consideration about all this. Ranma was HAPPY! He seemed to be genuinely pleased with Britanny. Heck, they were even on the floor earlier. "If this keeps up, I'm going to have to start planning a wedding!"
Nodoka laughed lightly as she went down the staircase. She couldn't help but think of her son as so manly! He seemed to have literally went from 'clueless' to 'manly stud' in the span of a day, ever since Britanny came over to their home.
Walking through her home, Nodoka hoped to find her son and Britanny. She wanted to check on them and make sure things were going smoothly. She eventually found Ranma in the dining room, looking over the phone-book with a blonde-haired girl. Nodoka would have sworn she felt her heart leap in joy. "Oh, my manly son! Aleady you have Britanny liking you, and now you have a new girl! SO MANLY!"
Ranma would have sworn he felt his heart skip a beat. He really did NOT want Britanny to think him a pervert. "Uh... Mom... This IS Britanny."
Blinking her eyes once, then twice, Nodoka asked, "W, what?"
Blushing Britanny stooed up from her seef "Yes, auntie." Britanny said, a bit embarassed. "You see, I am a Lycanthrope. I can change forms." And so saying, Britanny showed off this power of hers. She changed back into her hybrid form, which Nodoka was familiar with, and then back into her smaller, albeit cute, human form. "You see, auntie, I'm staying in this form so no one will stare when Ranma and I go out tonight."
Nodoka's eyes widened in surprise. "You're going out on a date!?"
Ranma blushed a little. "Well, I wouldn't call it a 'date', mom..."
Britanny's blush matched Ranma's. "Yeah. We're just going to go out on the town and explore."
Nodoka clapped her hands in joy. "Oh, HOW WONDERFUL! My manly son is going to take out a beautiful woman on a date!"
Ranma and Britanny both blushed deeply with this. "Moooooom..." Ranma said, embarassment evident in his voice.
"Oh, I'm so excited!" Nodoka squealed in delight. She smiled at both Ranma and Britanny. "You two wait right here and just talk, or do something rather 'naughty'! I'll be right back!"
And with that, Nodoka ran off, practically laughing in excitement all the way.
Britanny looked over at Ranma nervously. "Should we be worried?"
Ranma groaned. "Probably..."
