Nabiki hadn't been on the grounds of the school more than a couple minutes when she heard the voice of Tatewaki Kuno.
"Hold! What is this I see before me?"
"If Kuno falls for me now," Nabiki thought to herself, "I will kill myself."
"A vile creature has invaded our blessed establishment! Doubtlessly some sort of demon Saotome summoned from hell itself!"
That sinking feeling Nabiki had since that strange girl had yelled out a challenge earlier went and joined the Titanic.
"I shall vanquish this beast! Have at thee!" And then Kuno struck. Before Nabiki could dodge, the boken tore through her uniform and clothes.
She knew that to a were-creature like she was, this was a minor wound. That didn't make it hurt any less. She couldn't move, and it looked like Kuno was going to strike again.
One thing was certain. Renewing her Martial training was no longer an option...
