The attacks had started roughly a month after Li-kun's departure. She had tried fighting the demons off but even the magic of the Sakura cards wasn't enough, even counting the aid of her guardians Keroberos and Yue.
The demons appeared to be at least partially immune to magical attacks. 'If only Li-kun could have stayed..' Syaoran was the best fighter she knew, and the closest she had come to defeating one of these demons had been while she was empowered by Power or Fight or when using The Sword.
As Sakura hastily backpedalled away from more of the demon's attacks she lamented again, silently, the loss of a fighter to assist her in her magical battles.
For some unknown reason the people back in Nerima had suddenly begun attempting to kill him. Most people would think his daily routine of attacks and death threats had been death attempts.. but even Ryouga and Mousse at their most out of control hadn't really wanted him dead.. just to suffer.. a lot..
But yesterday the townsfolk had suddenly changed into psychotic murderrers with but one victim in mind. He had thought at first that it was the old ghoul's attempt at making him come back with them to China. He had until he realized they wanted him dead as well. At that point he figured it had to be something bigger than just amazon herbs or brainwashing.
Now he was on the run, and with Nabiki after you that was a very hard thing to do. He'd thought about hiding out in girl-form for a few days until the heat died off.. until he saw the flyers Nabiki had posted with both his forms.
He hated to do this.. but desperate times called for desperate actions. Taking a deep gulp, Ranma downed the aging mushroom and began his new life.
