Terry Bogard was a man with a new purpose now. After getting his vengeance at last, he was left with his nemesis' son, Rock Howard, to raise and guide beyond what his father was. He hadn't planned on getting another charge however.
They had found little Ranma in South Town's slums, thrashing some lowlives. That such a young kid could fight so well at his age was incredible. Of course, when knives and guns appeared, the lonely wolf intervened. For the next few days, Terry and Rock got to know Ranma a little better. The japanese boy was all alone in the world since no legal trace of his and his birth father's existence could be found. Terry, remembering what Jeff Bogard did a long time ago for him and Andy, decided to adopt him, giving Rock a little brother of sorts.
In the following years, Terry wouldn't cease to marvel at Ranma's incredible potential for martial arts. He was literally absorbing katas, special maneuvers and sudden death moves like a sponge. His whole technique was a mix of Terry and Geese's (thanks to big brother Rock's help) Hakkyokuseiken as well as a few tricks learned from Terry's friends during their visits. Another thing was that Ranma tended to get many female admirers in the second generation of the KOF warriors.
Finally, it was time for Terry's sons to face the world. Rock and Ranma participated in the Mark of the Wolves tournament, Rock won and defeated his uncle Kain. Terry, Ranma and Rock formed a team and entered the King of Fighters, emerging victorious, breaking the domination of the flame adepts' teams. Ranma decided to go for a martial arts trip alone and ended participating in the Millionaire fighting tournament, facing powerful martial artists such as Ryu, Ken and other street fighters. And after the finals where he had to defeat a crazed and overpowered Akuma, Ranma simply disappeared. No one knew that he had simply gone home, the terms of the wish finally fullfilled.
