"Shadow I have a request..." the ghost of queen Serenity started then came to a stop. 'Am I in the right place?' she thought looking around the small but homey library with a desk in one corner and an easy chair that now held Ranma in the other.
"Ah, hello My Queen. It's been quite some time." A voice said behind her and she turned to be confronted with the youthful looking, if a little sunburnt face of the Knight of Desire. Like The Knight of Fear he did a lot of the Silver Millennium's dirty work. Where Shade would slaughter Shadow would terrify. He was one of the only sanctioned Necromancers on top of being a man who stole secrets from the enemy and their lives. The fact that the Senshi were reincarnated was due to his handiwork. He had long wavy auburn hair and hazel eyes with a freckled complexion.
"Um... what happened? I was expecting to find you in a brothel or bar of some kind..." Serenity said. Truth be told even she didn't interact much with him as his magic scared everybody with common sense. Meaning him and Shade were old drinking buddies.
"I'm not as hedonistic as I led on, my pursuit of Necromancy was scholarly. I acted depraved to keep people scared, with the lavish chambers and torture rooms. I actually had a few hidden rooms a lot like this one. You just... never asked." he said shrugging a little. "Still what's with the kid? I'll take a wild guess and say you don't want me to bring out a scalpel." he said casually.
"No. This child is to be a Knight." Serenity said and was bemused as he looked quickly back and forth.
"Area of influence?" he asked walking up to the kid now fully snuggled into his easy chair.
"Courage." Serenity replied.
"Then why not Halite, or Basalt? If you remember my tactics don't exactly inspire heroics."
"Because they would teach him to throw himself in harms way like a fool. Shade would teach him to massacre, you on the other hand will teach caution and restraint in battle... and it looks like I don't have to worry about your bad habits rubbing off on him either." Serenity said and Shadow sighed.
"You know I'm only going to do this because I owe you big time." he said, it was true enough. Like the Knight of Fear he was not native to either the Silver Millennium or The Earth Kingdom, he was found in a coffin filled with shadows that a cargo ship had run into, they cracked the lid and liquid darkness poured out as he sat up, confused, lost, and with a natural grasp of death magic. He snapped his fingers and a skeleton shuffled up it was spray painted red. "Take our guest to a spare room and be gentle, use pillows and blankets." he ordered and the skeleton picked up the cushion Ranma was on and carried it and him off.
"Now as for you..." he said turning to face his queen. "Typical." he said seeing she had faded away while his back was turned. Outside a blizzard raged
