The Great Will: A new Idio... er... Great Will [Episode 5483]

Well, Ranma's wish came to pass. Akane couldn't say mean things to him anymore. Or anything else, for that matter, seeing as she was now mute. The look in her eyes, however, promised much pain if the situation wasn't rectified.

"Er... that's not what I meant..." Ranma said, embarrassed.

Nabiki was laughing. "Do you think you could leave her like that for a few days, Ranma?"

"Nabiki!" cried a shocked Kasumi. Then she turned to Ranma. "Really, please turn back on her voice. I'm sure she's learned her lesson."

Everyone took a moment to stare at Kasumi, but then Ranma decided to fix things. "I wish Akane could talk, again."

Nothing happened. Akane remained mute. Then a small slip of paper appeared out of thin air, and fell to the ground. Ranma blinked, and then picked it up.

After reading it, he muttered "Uh, oh..." Then Nabiki grabbed the paper and read it out loud.


Dear Mister Saotome,
We have found that the Great Will of the Universe had
been given to you in error. We have already taken the
Great Will back.
We apologize for any further inconvenience this may
cause you, but it really is for the best.
Sincerely,
The Powers That Be

Ranma watched as three sets of eyes rose to look at him. Three angry set of eyes, attached to three upset Tendo sisters.

This didn't bode well, he decided.

Meanwhile, a new Great Will of the Universe was chosen.

And, par for course, it ended up with one of the worst possible choices...
