Pokegirl Tendos: Breaking things won't work... so what will? [Episode 54898]

by The Major

"... If you really want to go, I can't stop you. I just want you to know that no matter how much you break, it won't bring us home.""?

Akane turned to glare at her oldest sister, a feeling of betrayal feeding her hopeless rage as Kasumi's word bit into her heart. For a long moment Akane just stared, then Nabiki's voice broke the deadlock:
"A good point Kasumi. So what *WILL* bring us home? What *CAN* we do to get rid of this poke-curse and return to normal?"

Kasumi put her hands to her mouth and a thoughtful look passed over her face, then she sagged and shook her head:
"I don't know, I can 'see' what is and catch glimpses of what might be... but I can't follow a path, I can't see a way to what you ask."

Nabiki frowned:
"Can you tell us anything that might help?"

Kasumi drew a deep breath and Nabiki had to fight off the sudden distraction of Kasumi's swelling bosom. Nabiki's eyes narrowed in suspicion, Kasumi didn't seem that upset at her situation, how serious was she about helping her sisters escape 'pokedom'? Kasumi spoke slowly and sadly:
"I can tell you that this world has searched for a cure for over a hundred years now... without ever finding one."

Akane stared at Kasumi in horror for a moment, then drew herself up:
"We'll find a cure. I'll bet the perverts here never seriously looked. Even Ranma... say where is Ranma anyway? He... he'd be... useful... to have around."

Nabiki cut in brusquely:
"Kasumi said Ranma has been converted into a pokegirl, seems his curse got him again", Nabiki carefully left out the bit about Ranma having kittens, Akane was unstable enough. Her anger and drive needed careful direction and control or in the end they would end up as pokegirls for good. Nabiki went still as she thought about Kasumi, what she had said and Ranma. She spun and faced her older sister:
"Kasumi, Ranma's curse. Can it still be activated?"

Kasumi shook her head:
"No. The Pokevirus is stronger than the Jusenkyo Curse. Ranma is trapped as a pokegirl."

Akane looked puzzled for a second then smashed a fist into her palm:
"I get it. Whatever magic lets the poke-disease transform people blocks the Jusenkyo curse", Akane slumped for a moment, then straightened up and fixed her gaze on Kasumi, "So how do we make the Jusenkyo Curse stronger? How do we make it so the Jusenkyo Magic is stronger in Ranma than the poke-magic?"

Kasumi's eyes glazed for and instant, then blinked in surprise as a look of wonder appeared on her face:
"I... any Megami... most magic type pokegirls... we could add some magic to the Jusenkyo curse, reinforce it so that it's stronger than the pokevirus. Then Ranma would be back to normal."

Nabiki gave a harsh smile and spoke up:
"Very Good. This leads to what I was wondering. If Ranma is, say... touching someone as his curse is activated... would it be possible to make it so that his jusenkyo curse transforms the person he's touching? Making them into a *HUMAN* girl?"

The two younger Tendo's watched as their sisters eyes glazed again in what they were begining to recognise as a symptom of her using her Megami powers. Then they snapped open and Kasumi looked bemused and startled:
"It would work... it would work... you need a powerful magic type to do it, but it would work, it's just amplifying the jusenkyo magic that is already there, that is already in Ranma. It would actually be a cure."

Nabiki nodded decisively:
"Right. Let's find Saotome then. We save him from being trapped as pokegirl, then he can save us", Nabiki looked around, then turned back to Kasumi, "Which way to Saotome?"
