Soun & Genma's Spellbook: Wedding Temple [Episode 54903]

It would have shocked, and helped Ranma to know about his situation that the reason that he had an arranged marriage always looming was simply because that was the tradition in his family. They tended to try that line of thought due to the fact that it was a good way to make alliances, combine with the families of friends and other such things. That wasn't too strange, but what tended to happen was a lot of a arrangements that were either forgotten, put aside, or just not mentioned to another member of the family doing the same.

What Genma and Soun had done was to take each of the girls who were, or had been, contenders for Ranma's hand through some sort of prior arrangement to be in one spot at once. Girls who would have lived their entire lives without know about him, or the possible arrangements were now with the boy that was a possible 'love intrest'. Which would have sent the two fathers into fits since they had only wanted to isolate Ranma and Akane, without the rest of the girls.

Kaori Daikoku was the girl that was talking to Kasumi. She had no idea of what she was doing there, but she decided that it wouldn't hurt to strike up old aquaintances.

Standing near Ukyo was Yohko Mano who didn't know who all these people were, but she did know that she would have to make certain to protect those with her. What she didn't know was that her grandma had made an arrangement with a certain pigtailed boy's mother's mother years earlier.

Sakura Kasugano knew little of what was going on, but it looked to be dangerous. But at least it did get her mind off of the fact that her mother had just informed her that her grandfather had arranged a marriage for her with his old friend's grandson.

Cracking her knuckles, Natsume Tsujimoto wondered where in the heck this had brought her. This was much wierder than her patrol beat, though she had never really thought that was totally possible. She did have to admit that the boy did remind her of the woman who she had seen with a baby back when she was a kid. It had been fun to hold the squirt while her mother and the woman had talked about things, but what they had to 'wait until they were older' about, she never did find out.
