"Umm excuse me?" Kasumi asked, the man paused and looked up.
"Ah yes.. Kasumi Tendo.... touched the Villainy Orb did ye? Heh guess you'll be Ranma's enemy for a while." He chuckled as he typed up some more items.
"Oh my! I couldn't ... I mean I have to take care of my family and...I just couldn’t go prancing around in such a outfit" Kasumi recalled the image she saw just before she vanished. "After all it’s not proper... "
The man snorted. "That’s the problem with your type you know? You’re so hung up on your family honor and what not. Such silly things... Look you touched the orb, you have to playa villain to Ranma's Hero. It’s the rule. "
"But..." Kasumi protested.
"Look if it bothers you that much, think of it this way. The orbs are the tools of the gods. By touching you one you get a destiny from the gods. Now tell me. Which is more important, Family Honor, or Godly Honor?"
Kasumi paused and considered this. If she was chosen from the gods...wouldn’t that supercede her commitment to her family? After all a Samurai's honor to his shogun overrode his own family honor right? Surely a service to the gods would override her commitment to her family... Kasumi blinked as she realized that this logic did make her feel better, as if some burden she was unaware of carrying had just been lifted off her shoulders. How odd...
The man smirked. "You see? Now then let’s get down to sending you to your patron."
"You mean you’re not my patron in this task?"
"Don't be silly girl! I'm just a trainee Angel... Ranma was empowered by Bastet, a goddess. In order to be his counterpart you till will have to be sponsored by a god or goddess...or a high level demon I suppose.... if you want to go that way.. No? I didn't think so...”
Kasumi sighed in relief as she glanced over the angels shoulder and saw him mark out the list of demons.
The angel blinked as he continued talking. "Now ordinarily you’d be sent straight to Set, Basts enemy. But he's been on probation ever since the.." The angel shuddered. " 'noodle' incident... so it looks like your going to go be trained and sponsored by....."
Seems Belldandy wants to learn to be a bit more 'naughty', since Urd suggested it might speed up things a bit with Keiichi...
Elsewhere. "I have to do WHAT to the dimesional analog of my sister?"
"You have to turn her into a bad girl opponent of Ranma."
*smirk*"You know this might be fun"
"Oh my... you mean I'm going ot be sposnered by a sayjin"
"I AM NOT A SAIYJIN! I am the MONKEY KING!!! Curse you AKIRA TORIYAMA for creating that series!!!"
