"Have you run out of things to mock me about?" she demanded.
The vampire gave her a wide, fanged grin as he fell back into step.
"I was just realizing something," Alucard said menacingly.
"What?" Mina demanded shortly.
A moment afterwards Walter stepped into the hall ahead of them and following him, a certain woman in a blue policewoman's uniform. Mina paused in her step as she took in the young woman's red eyes as she turned back to look towards them.
Victoria, for her part tried to place the scent coming from the strange green-eyed woman. The woman standing next to her master was a vampire certainly, despite the green eyes, but there was something disturbingly familiar about her sent.
Victoria's pace slowed down to a cautious level that Walter noted, drawing his attention to the meeting.
"Policewoman," Alucard said.
"Master?" Victoria asked, eyeing the strange vampire with the utmost caution.
"You've never met your elder sister, have you?" Alucard asked.
"Elder sister?" Victoria repeated in confusion, then her eyes widened as she realized the implications.
Mina, on the other hand, turned to glare at Alucard.
"Not only is Helsing tolerating you, they're allowing you to despoil more women?" she demanded angrily as she imagined the original Helsing turning in her grave.
Alucard graciously waved out his hand as if to present Mina to Walter and Victoria.
"Policewoman," Alucard said. "This is Miss Mina Murray the only surviving member of your predecessors. The others met with certain terrible accidents as Miss Murray will surely tell you. As you can see by the eyes she has broken away from my bloodline to become a true vampire. A great achievement."
Mina scoffed loudly at that statement.
"You make it sound as if I wished to become this...thing," Mina snarled. She snapped her head up and proceeded coolly down the hall, not sparing a glance for Victoria.
"Watch her closely, Policewoman," Alucard said as Mina passed beyond. "You can learn much from her."
"Yes, Master," Victoria ascertained crisply, following Mina's progress with her eyes.
Alucard smirked as he rightly guessed the intention of his master. Sir Integra would provide Mina with Victoria as an agent. Truly an interesting situation.
