Her life had been one where she had longed for love. She had seemingly found it, only to have to stand back for another friend's happiness. She had found another - only to have him turn out to be a pawn of evil and end up killing him. In that exchange she'd gotten cursed by him not to ever find love.
Since then, again and again, she'd had her hopes dashed. She was someone who wanted, needed, to love and be loved. Yet it seemed that it would never happen.
Now here was a chance. Duty and love did not have to be exclusive. Her prince, her fiance, and quite possibly her single remaining hope.
NOT pouncing on him was taking considerable effort on her part. For something she had wanted for so long to be nearly in her grasp - torture. Yet the only way to have any chance of success lay in patience. Prince Ran, or Ranma Saotome, was not ready for a relationship - he would have to be courted oh so very carefully.
So while she would have liked to have literally wrapped herself around him, showered him with kisses, and proceeded to delightfully naughty scenes of carnal mutual exploration - she didn't.
Minako turned a frozen grin towards Setsuna after noticing Ranma's toned flesh. "Shower?"
"Through that door, temperature can be set to near polar," said a sympathetic Setsuna.
"Thank you," said Minako as she marched to that door and went through. A few minutes later a sound like a startled "wooo hooo hooo HOOO" could be heard from that area amongst running water.
In another timeline, one of the few times that open combat escalated among the Senshi was during the wedding of Mamoru and Usagi. Specifically it was when Usagi threw the bridal bouquet. It was perhaps the only time Makoto had gotten hitten by a volleyball "rolling return" manuever, Minako had gotten a roundhouse blow delivered by someone as strong as Makoto, and Ami had gotten sidelined by both of them. The result had been Chibi-usa catching the bouquet and nearly a week of the various Senshi not talking to each other.
There as here - they were very good friends, but that didn't mean they couldn't experience their own moments of friction. In a non-hentai sense.
"So, uhm," began a nervous Ranma. "What do we do now?"
