"What are you doing, Master?"
"I'm just working on my bike."
"I could help you."
"That's all right, Jeannie. I enjoy working with my hands."
"I understand."
Cory looked up at his genie and asked, "Jeannie, what did you enjoy doing?"
"That is an easy question, Master. I enjoyed teaching new djinni how to use their power. Why do you ask?"
"I just wondered what you did before you got stuck in that bottle. Do you miss it?"
Jeannie sighed and looked out the garage. "I still teach Babu, but I do miss teaching more than one djinn at a time."
Cory stopped working on his bike and stood up. He walked over to Jeannie and put his hands on her shoulders. "Sorry, Jeannie. I didn't realize that question would make you sad."
"That is all right, Master. You just wanted to know more about me."
"I've got an idea. Why don't you ask Hadji to get you some students?"
"I am a bound djinn, Master. I have to serve you."
"What does that have to do with anything? I want you to do something other than just wait for me to make a wish."
"You are not trying to get rid of me, are you Master?"
"No, Jeannie. I still want you as my genie."
Jeannie spun around and kissed Cory on the cheek. "Oh thank you, Master."
Cory rubbed his cheek and saw Jeannie disappear. "I should have done that sooner. I never realized how beautiful Jeannie was until now." -------------------------- In Arabia, Hadji the ruler of all Djinni was sitting in his tent when Jeannie appeared before him.
"Small one, what do I owe the pleasure of this appearance?"
"My master wants me to take up teaching again."
"So, does have another girlfriend and is trying to get you out of his way?"
"No, Great Hadji. I believe he is truly interested in me to be happy."
Hadji stroked his beard for a few seconds and mused.
"It might be worth it to have you teaching again. There are other worlds that could use djinni to keep the wonder alive. Come with me."
The two djinni vanished from Earth and appeared on Venus. Hadji looked around and nodded. With a wave of his hand a huge building appeared. The two entered the building and went to an empty room.
"I've studied some modern world schools and colleges," Hadji said. "You'll be teaching female djinn. I'll set up another school on Mars to teach the male djinn. Now then, the dorms."
A small case with four shelves appeared alongside a wall. The top shelf had a single huge bottle on it, the one right below it had two slightly smaller bottles on it, the shelf below it had four bottles a bit smaller than the two, the final shelf had eight bottles on it about the size of Jeannie's bottle.
"What are the purpose of the bottles, Great Hadji?" Jeannie asked.
Picking up the largest bottle, Hadji replied, "They are where your students will be when you are not teaching them. It's to get them used to the idea of being contained. Your first year students will all go in the same bottle. As they progress in years, you will break them into smaller groups, until the final year where each one will be staying in a separate bottle. When they graduate, they will get a personalized item of their choice to be bound to."
Jeannie looked at the bottles and said, "At most, I will have 32 students. Each class will only have eight students in it."
"That is correct. Your students will also have a school uniform that they must wear."
"I understand. Now who am I supposed to train? I didn't think there were any other djinn that needed training."
"The ones who will be trained are not djinn, yet. You will be turning them into djinn and then teaching them."
"Great Hadji!" Jeannie exclaimed, sounding shocked.
"Don't worry, small one. It will be of their own free will. If they do not want to be djinn, they won't be forced into it. I'll give you a list of people you will be recruiting."
"Thank you, Great Hadji," Jeannie said, after she received the paper.
"Not only will you have to recruit students, but teachers as well," Hadji said. "You'll find the teachers are one side and the students are on the other."
