And as her foot gave the 'ship' a slight kick, the pigtailed girl realised that it was also made of cardboard.
"What are we doin' here?" she asked irritably.
Akane frowned at her. "What do you mean?"
"I 'mean', why are we standin' on a mock-up of a boat? I mean, the 'waves' are only cutouts bein' shifted around on rods..."
"Because it's what we're supposed to do, jerk."
"And the idiot makin' this can't even spring for somethin' a bit better? This stuff is such a rip off anyway," Ranma-chan said, pulling out a sheaf of paper, "'Because of a hot day in Tokyo, Ranma and Akane go in search of some relief and wind up getting lost on a boat that their parents have gotten them on.' Come on, if someone was was gonna go that way, why not just lift more of the stuff with Toma?"
"At least the person is trying..."
"Not really hard. I mean, paint and pizza boxes?"
"Well..."
"There is one way to handle this," the pigtailed girl commented, and then cupped her hands around her mouth. "Hey! Author-type person!"

"Why ain't ya give us somethin' real ta work with?"
