Luan started towards Gar and Carla was heading towards Julia when Theo spoke.
"Ahem, could I have everyone's attention? I would like to re-scan the
girls so if you all would be kind to gather everybody over here, please."
A few minutes later everyone was gathered together. The girls lined up and
waited nervously.
Theo closed his eyes.
"Clairvoyance." His eyes were glowing when he opened them.
He looked at each of the girls.
Julia was the first to speak.
"Well?"
"Those pregnant: Britanny, Sheila, Akane, Kasumi, Gina, and
Luan. Those who are still clear: Nabiki, Moisha, Lydia, Kodachi, Ukyou,
Shampoo, Charlotte, Brianna, and Carla."
Several people breathed sighs of relief.
"So no changes then?"
"Correct, Nabiki. Now, everybody may go back to what they were
doing."
Everybody walked off. Nabiki and her sisters, the wererats, Tirga, Ranma,
and Sheila gathered under the tree to talk about what had happened so far and
what was to come.
Carla walked up to Julia.
"Teacher, may I speak with you for a moment?"
"Of course. Let's go in the kitchen."
Luan walked to Gar.
"Gar, we need to talk about our engagement."
"Okay. How about we go over by the dojo?"

In the kitchen, Julia faced Carla.
"What is it that you wanted to speak with me about, Carla?"
"Well, Luan needs something from her home and wants me to get it for
her."
"Okay. Three questions. Why does want you to get it? What
does she need it for? How soon does she need it?"
"She wants to talk to Gar for a bit. It concerns wedding plans,
specifically theirs. She wanted me to get it while she talked to
Gar."
"Okay. That answers those questions. Now, I'll talk to Theo and
see if either he or Seance can take you to Jade. I'll be right back."
"Okay."

Gar and Luan stood next to the dojo. Gar was facing Luan.
"So, what is it about our engagement that you wanted to talk about?"
"Well, since we'll be getting married soon, I asked Carla to get something
from my home for me while we talked."
"Okay."
"Before my parents ran into Rook, Momma helped me put together a wedding
plan. I thought it might make it easier for us if we used it for the
planning of our wedding."
"Really? Sounds like a good idea."
Luan smiled up at Gar. They began to talk some more about what they were
going to do.

"Theo, could I speak to you a moment."
"Yes, Julia?"
"Carla needs to go to Jade now while Luan is talking with Gar. Could
either you or Seance take her there?"
"Of course. I will do it myself. I just need to know the
general area of Jade we need to go."
"You'll have to ask Carla. Come on, she's in the kitchen."

Tirga walked into the kitchen.
"Hey, Carla."
"Hello, Tirga."
"I just came in to get a drink. I saw Gar talking with Luan.
Nabiki said something about how they we discussing wedding plans. Do you
know anything about what is going on with those two?"
Tirga picked up a glass and started filling it as Carla answered his question.
"Yes, I do. Luan wanted to discuss with Gar about something her
mother helped her with that should make it easier for them to plan their
wedding."
"Really? Lucky them. The rest of us have to plan from
scratch."
Tirga shrugged and emptied the glass. He sat it in the sink.
"Well, I guess I better go out and talk to Kasumi about our wedding."
Carla waved at him as he left.

Akane sighed. Things had been rough lately. First getting hit with
the dust, then sleeping with a wererat guy she did not know, and now she was
pregnant with his child. They had not talked about wedding plans but knew
that they would do so soon.
"Hey, Akane. What's on your mind?"
"Oh. Just the pregnancy and marriage that will take place soon,
Nabiki."
"That's right. All you pregnant girls have to get married because
you're pregnant. Except Britanny since she is already married."
"Yeah, I know. I have a feeling we are all going to be talking about
it tomorrow too."
Kasumi looked thoughtful for a moment before speaking.
"Well, why don't we start figuring out a rough idea of plans for
weddings. That way when they bring it up, all the couples will have some
ideas for what they are going to do."
"Okay."

Julia and Theo walked into the kitchen. Carla looked at them.
"Carla, Julia told me of your request to get something for Luan. I
will take you but you need to tell me roughly where we need to go."
"Okay. Luan's home is outside of Tessa."
"Ah, I know where Tessa is. I'll gate us there and you will show the
way to her home."
"Great. Thank you very much."
"You're welcome. Shall we go then?"
"Yes." Carla nodded happily.
Theo prepared a gate and they went through it.
