Ranma Diggers: How Julia met Nodoka [Episode 56995]

Yes, Julia Diggers would be very happy.

Nodoka sighed as she remember the woman she met all those years ago. It had been during a martial arts tournament that Julia had come to so that she could study up on the fighting styles of the Japanese. (AN: Actually it was all the fighting styles of Earth, Japan was just one stop on the trip)

Genma had been fighting in the same tournament and lost to her during the semi-finals. Of course being the fool that he was the balding martial artist imeditally accused her of cheating when the tournament was over and demanded a rematch; which he lost of course.

Nodoka apologized afterwards for Genma's foolishness and tried to make it up to the woman by paying for her trip to the local clinic for some of the minor injuries she had received. Julia had stuck around afterwards while Nodoka waited to hear about Genma and the two got to talking, becoming friends immediately.

Over the next two months while Julia and her husband Theo stayed in Japan Nodoka had found a new best friend. Whenever Julia wasn't at one of the local dojo's checking out Japanese styles, Nodoka was always by her side.

Afterwards they had sent letters to each other and other means of correspondence, until one day it all just stopped. Then one day out of the blue while Genma was off with Soun and that old master of theirs on an extended training journey, a Japanese looking man with graying hair arrived with a basket and a letter. After handing the two things to Nodoka he literally vanished into thin air.

Inside was a note from her friend Julia whom she hadn't heard from in years, and a baby boy, her son.
