K' amended his statement a moment later. Hell was exactly what was going on here. Osaka was burning, again. And in the middle of it all, was Rugal.
K' hadn't met Rugal before, but he knew about him. And frankly, had he a choice in the matter, he'd have headed right back the way he came - at least, until he could get some back up. Like the entire JSDF. Or at least Maxima and Kula.
Rugal was fighting another sight that K' hoped to never see: Iori Yagami, within the throes of the Riot of Blood. And the worst part of it... Iori was getting his ass handed to him by the Modern Pirate.
A movement caught his eyes. This sight was something of shock to K', but at least a more pleasant one than the last couple. Ranma Bogard, someone K' at least respected. He was in poor shape, but he was still up.
K' used the blackout to get near Ranma, and helped the Wild Wolf up. "Geez, Bogard, do you have a death wish or something? Wasn't taking on Akuma enough for you?"
Ranma grinned weakly. "Didn't have much choice in the mater. Rugal's gunnin' for me. How's Iori doing?"
K' looked back to the fight. "He might have a chance if he stops blocking Rugal's attacks with his head..."
Ranma winced. "That good, huh?"
"Iori's not going to last much longer, even in the Riot of Blood. What have you got?"
"Give me a few minutes, and I'll be good for a few more rounds. And I wouldn't count Iori out yet, he got up from the Shun Goku Satsu, after all. Think you can last about five minutes?"
Now K' winced. "Ask for a small miracle why don't you?" He looked up to see Iori fall, again. "But it looks like I'm going to have to, doesn't it? You just better hurry, Bogard... you're probably going to have to pull my ass outta the fire."
Ranma chuckled. "Oh, I will. If I don't, Kula would be mad at me..."
K' laughed at that too. "Yeah. I find that a good incentive too." So saying, he got up...
And went to face the God of Battle...
