That a pet could not marry her owner was something that the two of them had apparently forgotten.
But as he got to the part where it asked "Do you have someone whom who would also like to share this joy with?", he stopped and thought for a moment. At first, he was going to just pass it by, but as he considered the way that Ranma and Akane were getting along, he changed his mind. Nabiki didn't seem to be having the sort of enjoyment that he might want, and to have her be a more dutiful daughter would be nice. On the other hand, he worried about Kasumi as she didn't have much of a life outside of the house and her friends tended to be older women.
So, in a burst of thought, decided that it would be a good idea to put them down on the paper. After all, it was only to help them in their lives. He just didn't see what could go wrong.
Taking the papers from customer, the Clerk looked them over, and blinked at the two added transformees. Oh well, the customer was always right. "Seems to be in order. And the price for this will be... this amount."
Soun frowned at the price, and remembered that he and Saotome had left without sake money. "I seem to have forgotten my money at the moment."
Sighing, the Clerk rolled his eyes. "In that case sir, there are several options that you can follow. First, you could volunteer to be sold in order to pay for your order, though I doubt that is what you want."
The Tendo patriarch nodded vehemnetly, even as he watched Saotome 'browse' through the items on the shelves.
"The other choice that I can see at the moment is to send you a bill, but I must inform you that if you do not pay, then you will forefit what you have purchased. And there will be some extra costs involved."
After a moment of thinking, Soun smiled. When a bill would come in the mail, he would simply be able to slip it in with the rest of the household bills. Then he could pay it with the money that he would save from not having to have workmen repair his home all the time. "That would be perfect."
"Then that's what it will be."
"So you will take care of this quickly?"
"Right away, sir."
The Tendo patriarch nodded in satisfaction while:
