"Eexcellant! Now we zall have to begin ze conversion of ze minions!" Oulala clapped her hands at the thought of having all those properly French girls roaming about in their crisp uniforms.
Bon Bon grinned and rubbed her hands, eager to begin. "Where zall we start?"
Oulala pulled out a map. "I have already choseen the perect place! We zall first go to ze Furinkan High School!"
"Why zis Furinkan?" Bon Bon asked. Not that she was objecting, of course.
"Eet is a place of substandard education, and much weirdness takes place there," said Oulala. "They will not be missed!"
"Besides, it ees very close," added Crepe Suzette.
"Zis is true," agreed Oulala. "At the first bell, we strike!"
Burger Clown tootled her horn menacingly.
Hambungler rubbed his hands together and leered.
The Grumble merely giggled in an inane fashion.
Facing them were nine Marionette Senshi, twelve marionette maids, two mooncats, and Magical Mooncatgirl Yuka and Magical Maid Sayuri.
"Nya, I hope this is temporary," said Mooncatgirl Yuka.
Hambungler lunged forward a fat rifle-device in his hands sending a magical bolt towards...
Luna screeched as she was targetted by the blast. "Ahhhhhh OOOHHHH!!!"
"Duh huh, now we got der Mare McCheese!" The Grumble giggled.
Luna blinked and realized that she now weighed sixty five pounds. "WHAT?! I'm FAT!!!"
Artemis reached out with one paw and knocked the pudgy cat over to roll on the ground. "Good gravy!"
"Grimble mutter mitter mumble!" cursed the Hambungler as he checked the settings on the transformer rifle.
Minako2 put one hand up over her head. "Summon Materia!" Her eyes glowed and a similar glow built up along her raised forearm. "Choco/Mog!"
Odd music (Chocobo theme from "Final Fantasy") began playing from no identifiable source as a cloud of dust rapidly approached. It resolved almost immediately into a golden chocobo (large riding bird) with a teddy bear-critter in a crash helmet riding it. The chocobo warbled briefly just before it impacted Burger Clown, sending her bouncing down the stairs as it continued on. The music slowly faded away.
"Grimble grummer grimble!" Hambungler declared, pointing his rifle again.
Haruka2 pointed at the ground. "Magic Materia. Quake!"
The earth shook and twisted under the feet of Hambungler and the Grumble.
"Let me sweeten that disposition," giggled the Grumble, replying with a "Vanilla Shake Cannon!"
The marionette Uranus was swept off her feet by the sudden spray of thousands of gallons of semi-frozen dairy product.
Burger Clown beeped and honked as she climbed back up the stairs, congratulating Grumble on his successful burying of the tomboyish android.
Setsuna2 stepped forward. "Summon Materia. Hades!"
Sinister music played. An apparition of some lich standing over a cauldron appeared to cast some spell.
"AHHH!" "NOOOO!" honk honk ribbit!
Now a set of Confused, Minified, Sleeping, Frogs with Gradual Petrification counters appearing over their heads, the three villains didn't do much.
"All three of them failed their saving throws, how unusual," commented Setsuna2.
Spitting bits of milkshake out of her mouth, Haruka2 waited until the frogs had turned to stone, then picked them up and arranged them next to a tree. "They're pretty cute like that."
"Waitaminute, two of them were transformed against their will into second-string villains," said Magical Maid Sayuri. "Do you have a way to turn them back?"
"We can break one spell at a time," admitted Ami2 "by Usagi2 using the Heal materia in conjunction with my Sense materia. It'll take a day to break each layer of the Hades effect though we can hit all three at the same time. Which should we do first?"
"Leave them stone, but break the shapeshift that turned them into Dark Lieutenants," suggested Sayuri as Yuka groomed herself.
"What about me?" gasped the portly Luna.
"We're dealing with innocent victims, you can wait," said Haruka2 who had a certain streak of vindictiveness.
The marionettes of Mercury and Moon raised power, linked up, and stared at the results.
So did Yuka and Sayuri. "Akane?!"
A petrified, quarter-scale, Akane stood alongside similar versions of Daisuke and Hiroshi.
Yuka began walking off. "Come on. We've got school tomorrow."
"What about?" Sayuri asked as she dusted Akane off.
"We'll set them in the school yard, that way they won't be playing hookey," suggested Yuka.
