Sitting on a chair in the corner of the room was a beaten and bruised Genn, she was getting bandaged up by Strype after both mothers had used her to 'vent' a bit. Strype smiled a bit appologetically at the rakshasa, "You okay Genn. Sorry you had to go through that."
Genn winced, "I'm fine, they didn't cut too deeply or I'd be in trouble."
By the phone Gina was ordering some food, lots of tuna in it, for them to eat.
In a different area of the room Theo was talking to Britanny in hushed tones so that Julia and Nodoka wouldn't hear them, "So just why don't you want me to tell Julia that I know where Brianna is?"
Britanny sighed, "Dad, mom, and Ranma's mom were fighting tooth and nail back there. My best guess is that Brianna and Ranma thought they were going to be split apart, so they took off to get married."
Theo nodded, "And they probably think that I might try and break them apart as well."
Britanny grinned a bit, "Well, you did use that Flaming Hell Skull of yours to break apart any dates I had before I met Strype, Brianna knows this, so, you know, she's just a bit worried."
Theo nodded and sighed, "I guess she would be. But still, perhaps I should."
Britanny shook her head, "Daddy, don't. Let them be for now. I don't think they're getting into trouble and even if they are, you know Brianna can get out of most tight spots by herself. I'm not sure what this Ranma can do, but he was carrying most of the stuff they had and was keeping pace with Bri easily." She then smirked a bit, "They jumped to the rooftops and took off at a fast clip. I could've caught them if I wanted to, but I thought they should be happy."
"So you let them go." Britanny nodded. "Britanny, I do not think that Julia, or even Nodoka would split the two apart."
Britanny shook her head, "I don't think so either, but those two were nervous. I saw it in their expression just as they left." She sighed, "I just want my baby sister to be happy."
Theo nodded, "I want her to be happy as well." He then smirked a bit, "I'm surprised you didn't do this at your wedding after Raphiel showed up and Jetta and I tried to get the two of you together, I still apologize for that."
"It's okay daddy, you were doing as you thought best. And I was tempted to do the same as Bri's doing right now."
Theo nodded, "I understand, you just want her to be happy." He sighed, "If we wait for those two to calm down, I can remind Julia what her mother thinks of me. Perhaps that will calm her down a bit."
Brit nodded, "Yeah." She then winced, "Unless mom decides to treat Ranma like Grammy treats you."
Theo winced, "That would be a bad thing."
Back in the main room Gina was sitting by Genn thinking about what her sister had done, "Genn, are you sure that you don't know a thing? I know you're Brianna's closest confident, but still, I'm worried about her."
Genn nodded, then whimpered a bit as the motion caused her neck to hurt. "Yeah, Brianna didn't tell me a thing, honest. She just said they were just going away for five to fifteen years and wouldn't be back, and then she hung up."
Gina frowned, "It's all that guy's fault, he must've corrupted Brianna somehow. She would never do this on her own."
Genn smiled a bit nervously at that, remembering the Dragon Pharoah Tower and the Grave Digger incidents had to reply to that, "Oh I wouldn't say that."
Gina shrugged and then there was a knock on the door, "I'll go and get it." Gina got up and went to the door and there was room service. "Thanks."
"No problem miss." The bellhop pushed the cart into the room, once it was in, he turned and left. The money that Brianna and Ranma had given the manager was more than enough to pay for the damages and the food.
Britanny and Theo came back into the room to eat a late supper with the rest of the group. Julia looked at Theo, "Are you sure that you can't find Brianna's aura anywhere?"
Theo rolled his eyes, "Not within the district." Which was true. The hotel was on the edge of Nerima, near Juuban.
"What about the other districts?"
"I haven't scanned them yet. I'm a bit tired Julia, in the morning I shall scan for them actively. Right now I am doing a passive scan which will only pick up the increased emotions of a fight, and since I know Brianna's aura, I'll be able to go and help her out if she gets into trouble."
Julia nodded, slightly mollified.
Nodoka was frowning while she ate, not liking what her son had done, but as she thought about it, it was what she and Genma had done, so maybe, possibly she would cut him a break for doing that.
There was obvious tension between the two elder ladies as they ate, everyone else was pretty much relaxed except for Genn, who was still hurting from the 'venting' that she had recieved earlier.
Meanwhile. . .
