[Episode 58997] [Episode 58997]"Is something wrong?" Kasumi asked as she frowned at the redhead.
"NO! Nothing!" the pigtailed girl blurted as she tried to head off any suspisions. "Just realizin' that I gotta... take a bath! That's it!"
"Oh, is that all? I was worried for a moment."
"Don't be," Ranma replied as she bounced to her feet, "I'm gonna be fine."
"Are you sure?" Ryouga asked dubiously.
"Completely. Now, if ya both'll excuse me, I gotta go and take a bath," she said and darted out before they could say anything.
In the changing room a few minutes later, Ranma was pulling off her clothing as she considered her options, few as they seemed.
'Okay... So I'm a girl here, and I'm supposed ta be engaged to, bleh, Ryouga, with Mousse wantin' ta get me for himself. Akane's supposed ta be my friend, my Mother's puttin' me in dresses when she knows she's my Mom, and who knows what everybody else's gonna be like...'
That bit of thought made her huff and plop down onto the washing stool before she soaped herself up. Which wasn't that unusual as she had been forced to wash as a girl for a long while. After all, it was hard to do a cold rinse and stay as a guy before.
So it left her plenty of time to think as she washed her shapely body and went over what she couldn't do. 'If I just tell everybody 'bout what's happened, they'll think that I'm nuts. But if I don't do anythin' then I will go crazy, or somethin'. Or I could try ta make it so that I can live like this, but I gotta get back ta bein' a guy somehow.' Washing off the cold water from her body, she sighed but as a stray thought hit her, she perked up. 'If I can fix whatever it is that that guy did, then I can go back ta havin' things be normal! All I gotta do is to find that store again and get 'im ta fix it! Or I can get the Naban Mirror or somethin' and do it myself! I just gotta pretend that everythin' is normal until then.'
Smiling to herself about her plans, she got into the furo to soak for a bit. Which turned her expression into a frown. A glance down told her that it wasn't a manly expanse of muscle breaking the line of the water, but two firm ivory mounds tipped with light pink nipples. The legs spread out from her body weren't the strong ones that she half expected, but rather were shapely and smooth.
But she managed to console herself that things would be back to normal soon enough... or as normal as they got for her. After all, she had a plan, and with it she would fix everything. Nothing could go wrong...
The sound of the door sliding open reached her ears and the pigtailed girl turned to look at the newcomer.
Who turned out to be an unclothed Akane. Ranma readied herself for a blow... which never came.
Instead of flying off the handle as she expected, the youngest Tendo daughter smiled at her and settled down at the stool to wash herself. "Looks like someone decided to get up. Ooohh, that's cold."
"Uh... yeah... I..."
"But at least you got enough sleep that you're up with plenty of time to get ready."
"There's that..."
"Yeah well, it'll be nice not to have to drag you from your bed again."
"Hey, I can get up myself!"
"Then why do we always have to run to get to school on time?" Akane asked with a shake of her head that sent water droplets flying.
"I dunno..."
"It is nice not to have to deal with all those jerks at the school though," the darkhaired girl said as she stretched out a leg to wash it.
"I... I..."
"Are you sure that you're okay? Kasumi said that you told her that you were, but you seem to be... off today."
Ranma gave a nervous giggle. "Who me? Never better!"
"Riiight. ANY-way, I want to see if we can beat that idiot Kuno to school today."
"That sounds fine."
"Glad that you agree," Akane said, and dumped a pail of water over herself.
"Don't wanna deal with that myself."
"Then you will get ready on time."
"If I have ta."
The youngest Tendo daughter smirked as she got into the furo and sat next to the redhead. "And you have to."
Glancing over at the girl, Ranma gulped. She knew that she was supposed to be a girl in this 'new' world, but with Akane that close, she expected to be bashed at least. However, Akane was smiling and sitting back with her eyes closed like it was life as usual.
Realising that staring would get her into major trouble, she sat staring straight ahead for the rest of the soak while:
