Only one woman was physically capable of keeping up with Saeba Ryo, the City Hunter and undisputed top pervert in the nation (at least in his age group; there was some bickering over whether the overall title would go to him, or to Moroboshi Ataru or one Happousai). That woman was her mamma, and there was much of her in Saeba Usagi.
However, Usagi was first and foremost her father's daughter. For one thing, she was totally boy-crazy to the point of perversion. She was very agressive, and her antics often promoted very... extreme reactions from both parents, and later Chiba Mamoru when they 'hooked up' after discovering that she was the reborn princess of an ancient queendom and Mamoru was her lover reborn. She also displayed her father's nigh invunlerability—not that her parents or Mamo-chan ever abused her, mind you, but her pursuits of the opposite sex often lead her into dangerous situations out of sheer carelessness; for instance, while chasing after one melt-in-your-mouth hunk, she had been mowed down by a Mack truck traveling 60 mph, but her innate toughness allowed her to not only survive, but bounce back a second later. Too bad for her the hunk got away.
At the tender young age of five, Usagi decided she would follow in her father's legacy. Training day and night with her father and mother had produced admirable results, for little Usagi had become 'Chibi Hunter', gun-wielding badass of Tokyo.
She was the Chibi Hunter who was about to become Chibi-bits if she didn't do something to get her out of this mess.
Usagi rammed her elbow into what she believed to be the thing's throat, pushing it back and off her. Once freed of the thing's weight, she reached underneath the pillow and rolled off the bed, and then sitting up in a firing position in one easy motion. It was only a 1960 Colt .25 Auto, small enough to not be uncomfortable under her pillow, but it was large enough to feel through the pillow and provide a sense of security.
The little gun spoke twice, once catching the monster right between the eyes, the next right through the heart. It didn't seem to hurt the monster severely, as it recovered and started advancing again.
"Usagi, you dummy!" the Chibi Hunter childed herself. Her aim went immediately to the large, vulnerable-looking crystal on the thing's forehead. A third report sent the bullet to shatter the odd-looking crystal. The monster screamed, then crumbled into dust.
"Usagi-chan? Usagi-chan? I heard gunshots! What happened?" came the urgent voice of her father from behind her door. "Please answer, Usagi-chan, or I'm coming in!" As perverted as he was, Ryo was not going to barge into his own daughter's room. Even he had his standards.
Remaining in the position she'd ended up in when she shot the monster, Usagi calmly answered, "It's okay, Papa. I'm decent."
Saeba Ryo opened the door to see his daughter sitting on the pink carpeted floor, her left leg braced firmly on the floor in front of her and her right splayed off to the side. Her arms and hands were in the fire position holding the Colt .25 in her hands. She also wore a fierce look on her face like she always got when she was all business... her 'Badass Trance', he dubbed it.
Three bullets emerged from the rapidly subliming pile of dust next to her bed, three spent cartrages lay several feet away from her. A whiff of nitrocellulose tickled his nose, confirming that those three pops were indeed gunshots.
"So... what happened here?" asked Ryo at last.
"You know those monsters running around lately?" asked Usagi grimly, 'Badass Trance' still in force.
"What about—? Oh, I see..." He nodded to the subliming pile. "So that's the remainder, eh?"
Usagi snapped out of her 'Badass Trance' and smiled. "Sure is!" she said, adding proudly, "All hits, no misses! Once between the eyes, once through the heart, and once through a small crystal embedded in its forehead, which is what really killed it!"
Ryo grinned. "That's my girl!" he said proudly, to which Usagi giggled happily. He was about to close the door when he thought of something. "Oh, and I almost forgot. You wanted me to remind you about that meeting with—"
"Ah! Right! I remember now! Thanks!" Usagi interrupted. Usagi shooed her father out of her room to get dressed. After all, in about an hour, she had to meet
