Sheila shrugged, "Well, we are in the market place, and it is fairly crowded right now, so thieves try and steal what they can from people by bumping into them."
"But you'd think they wouldn't attack an Edge Guard member?"
Sheila shrugged, "Theives aren't known for their brains at times."
"You don't seem to angry that they keep bugging us."
Sheila looked at him, "That was only the third theif that bothered us, you've knocked them around, they haven't got back up just yet and the city guards have picked them up."
Ranma nodded, "Yeah, I guess. These were just run-of-the-mill crooks that you can find in any town, nothing too dangerous I suppose."
Sheila nodded, "Yeah."
"So what's new with you personally?"
Sheila sighed and looked to the ground, Ranma blinked, "Hey, did I say something I shouldn't have?"
Sheila shook her head, "Naw, it's alright, I suppose it's alright if you know, being a friend and all."
"What? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
Sheila shook her head as they walked out of the market place, "Nah, it's alright, you're a good friend." She sighed, "I've been trying to get Tirga to pay attention to me lately."
Ranma blinked, "Oh?"
Sheila nodded, "Yeah. I mean, sure, he's a pervert and what-not, but he's a decent guy when you get past that." She sighed, "But I just don't want to end up another notch on his bedpost."
"He sleeps around?"
Sheila nodded, "Yeah, he seduces a girl, spends a night or two with them, then dumps them for the next girl that he sees. I just want him to treat me as I want to treat him."
Sheila let her shoulders slump over that fact, "I just wish he'd quit skirt chasing and get serious."
Sheila blinked when Ranma put a hand on her shoulder, she looked at him and he smiled at her, "Hey, it'll be all right. You'll find someone to be with, I'm sure of it."
Sheila smiled at him, "Thanks. But it's surprising that I tell you this, I try and keep it a secret from people."
Ranma was going to say something to that, but it was cut off by the sound of an explosion, Ranma and Sheila turned to look, Sheila blinked, "That's coming from one of the inns. Oh, I hope that those mage-nappers aren't at it again."
She started to take off, but she knew she wouldn't make it in time to be of any help, the bad guys would be long gone by then. She was surprised when she was being picked up, "Need a lift?" Came Ranma's voice.
Sheila eeped a bit, and wrapped her arms around Ranma's neck as he jumped to the trees and then to the top of the roofs of the buildings as high speeds. Sheila felt herself flush a bit from such close contact with a guy, whom, she admitted, was very good looking.
"Hmm, seems to be some trouble, don't recognize any of them." Which was a lie, Ranma had met G'Nolga and Hanzo when he was the Guyver, but not face-to-face outside the suit. As for Rook? Not personally in either form.
Sheila blinked and looked herself, she goggled, "Ranma, I can just make them out, how can you?"
Ranma smirked, "Simple, I just use my Ki to enhance my senses is all." He then frowned, "Say, what's happening to Gar? He's getting a lot more muscular and animalistic looking."
Sheila blinked and looked up, "The sun is out and so is the full moon, Gar must be in Lunar Rave."
"Lunar Rave?"
Sheila nodded, "Yeah, when any Werecreature is in Lunar Rave, their abilities increase thirty-fold. Speed, strength, size, muscle mass, senses, and if they have any, magic and Ki abilities are all enhanced."
Ranma nodded, "Sounds useful." He then blinked, "Seems Gar just used one of Julia's moves to throw one of them out of there."
The two of them landed just as Gar turned to Rook and Hanzo, "HOLD IT!"
Hanzo shivered, "Well, heavens to Betsy, would you look at the time, I've got to go." He placed a ring on his finger and was prepared to use it's invisiblity aspect to diappear.
Rook grabbed his shoulder, "What, can't you fight against one Edge Guard? This'll be. . .easy?" Rook glanced around, there was that Jagwere, who was now shifting back to normal, since the solar eclipse was gone, there was a short, petite Jagwere with a magical sword out, and Rook could tell it was magical, a human that was glowing blue, most of that was concentrated into his hands, and a Weretiger, a Werelion and a short Werecheetah heading his way, well, he didn't want to take any chances. "On second thought, running's a good idea."
Rook teleported himself and Hanzo out of the area.
Gar growled, "Damnit!"
Onoli ran up, "We're here Gar, what's the situation?"
Gar shook his head, "Sorry Onoli, the leader was too dangerous to capture on my own, especially with the eclipse lasting only a few moments. I had to throw her out of the area. The other two," Gar frowned, "They teleported away."
Onoli nodded and looked around, he gave a curt nod to Sheila and Ranma, he turned back to Gar, "We'll find them, but right now we've got to take Genn and Seance to a healer."
Gar nodded, "Right and. . . .Brianna?" Gar blinked, "What the heck happened to you?"
Brianna blinked and looked down at her arms, they were shorter, her hands more dainty, but that wasn't all, they were furry. "G-Good googly moogaly!!"
Ranma blinked and thought to himself, 'Just like when we passed by the moon going to Aebra.'
