Ryouga turned the other way, nearly putting Ranma into a dizzy spell. "No you blockhead! Alright, turn the other way, slowly. When I say stop, then go forward."
In the classroom, Akane sat down and finally noticed that Ryouga and Ranma weren't there. *Just great, turn my back for one second.*
The teacher came in, "Alright class, time for role call."
In the middle of the attendance list, Akane answered, "Here!" She started to wonder if she should head out and look for them when finally just as Ranma's name was called out.
"Miss Saotome...."
Ryouga pushed through the door with his leg and Ranma called, "Here!"
The girls in the class sighed, "How romantic!"
Ryouga was still carrying Ranma, who grew further red - especially under the stares of people she knew.
"Glad you could show up, Saotome-san. Now, would you please explain why you were late? And who this young man is?"
Ryouga paniced at the thought of getting his fiancee in trouble. "Er.. Uhm, Ranma was helping me to class... ya. I'm a new student here. Ryouga Hibiki."
Ranma slapped her forehead and grumbled, "Just what I needed." Ryoga didn't hear her and walked in. Akane waved in the back, pointing to an empty desk. Passing the rows of desks, whispers were being passed. Carefully putting Ranma in her seat, Ryouga went to stand in the back.
"And what do you think you are doing Hikibi?"
"Uhm, I think I'll stand back here and keep watch."
The instructor sighed, "Obviously you aren't from around here, but in normal classrooms, the students sit in the desks. Since you are a new student, I'll let it slide that you and Ranma were late. Next time try to be on time."
Ryouga looked around he spotted a free desk...
