Genma's Wish: Obsidian's Heir - Ranma [Episode 5939]

He was Ranma Saotome, of a school of Kill Anything martial arts.

He'd learned to shoot a gun at age five. By the time he was ten he could drive a jeep, clean and maintain most firearms blindfolded, was an expert at the martial arts, at living off the land, and was capable of beating the crap out of your average mercenary soldier.

Also by the time he was ten, he'd taken part in four wars somewhere in the globe. He hadn't even known most of the time what he was fighting for - just where the money was coming from.

Obsidian had worried about the causes. As long as the pay was good and the cause wasn't something he felt brought dishonor on the Queen - so much the better. Ranma had heard enough to know about the code of honor, and that one day he could end up championing a cause for the Queen. That would be fine. Then. You had to survive to get to that then.

By the time he was fourteen he could hotwire a tank, pilot private planes and helicopters, or could sneak into a camp of armed men past modern detection and surveillance equipment and kill the enemy commander without a sound. He knew how to mix normal household chemicals into explosive devices. He knew how to hurt people in all sorts of ways without making it obvious. That shiatsu master in Tibet had been most enlightening.

Now at age sixteen, he was back in Japan.

Eventually the Queen would show. He hoped the girl was less of an icemaiden than Obsidian had indicated, but you couldn't always chose your employer.

Now he could hunt down his crazy parents and see if he wanted to even bother with them.

Ranma snorted at the lack of defenses of this house. Pathetic. Well, now it was time to see

• his mother. His pop is still on the road somewhere.
• his father, who has been staying at this 'Tendo dojo' thing. Hmmm? To defeat owner in bloody combat use rear? Sounds like just the thing!
• his father, whose trail had ended at this village of Amazon women...
• his mother and father. Genma had returned home after all.
• someone else
