Turning a corner, he almost ran into a mirror.
Alucard smiled, and looked over his glasses as he examined the man before him.
“Nice Coat.”
Vash blinked and looked at the black-haired figure. “Love the sunglasses.”
“May I see your gun?” inquired Alucard.
“Sure,” replied Vash as he drew his revolver and presented to the vampire. “Can I see yours?”
Alucard chucked and handed Vash his Jackal. “Don’t drop it. It’s heavy.”
The two exchanged guns and began to study the other’s firearm.
“It’s not that bad,” remarked Vash as he test drew the 30lb black steel hand cannon. “The barrel is a little long for my tastes though.”
“And yours is a tad light, but wonderfully balanced,” commented Alucard as he gave the Angel Arm a spin on his finger.
The two men exchanged guns and grinned widely.
“So, you’re Alucard,” stated Vash.
“Yes,” replied the vampire, with a toothy grin. “Heard of me?”
Vash nodded. “I was talking to Victoria.”
“Ah, and what did the Police Girl tell you?” he asked.
Vash scowled slightly. “Enough.”
Alucard laughed to himself. “And how did this conversation with Police Girl begin, if I might asked.”
“Well,” muttered Vash with a blush, “It seems we’ve been assigned to the same room. I went in and she was asleep… I tried to give her CPR…”
Alucard’s smile grew form ear to ear. “Oh really?”
“Yeah.”
“I see then…”
Vash sighed. “Do you know where the mess hall is? I’m starving.”
“This way,“ Alucard directed Vash to follow him, but said, “Don’t expect me to eat with you. I already ate.”
Vash blinked, “Had your medical blood for the day.”
Alucard's grin grew ever more slightly. “Something like that…”
