That made the Wizard blink for a moment, and he gave a little chuckle. "Uh... no. Newtypes don't look any different than another person, even if they have great abilities."
"Great abilities?" Shinji asked, a curious look upon his face.
"Yes, like being able to fly, or shoot lasers, or climb walls, you know - comic book stuff." The Wizard smirked, gesturing towards a convienently placed rack behind him.
Shinji glanced towards the various booklets upon the rack, his attention drawn to a few particular favorites of his... quickly making up his mind, he said "I'll take it."
"That will be 100 yen, please." The wizard asked a ridiculously low price.
"That's less then the cost of pocky!" Shinji exclaimed.
"Yes, I know, but I figure saving this world might be good for business, no?" The wizard bashfully responded. This was against normal operating procedure, of course, but...
Handing over the yen and finishing the transaction, Shinji carefully cradled the vial in his hands.
"Just pour the liquid somewhere outside. A water supply would be preferable, but anywhere will do in a pinch." Seeing his customers disbelieving look, the Wizard added, "It's very potent: once the surrounding flora and fauna are infected, the virus will spread at an astonishing rate."
"Very potent... And your sure the people infected won't turn into monsters?"
"Very sure."
"Alright, then." Shinji grasped the vial tightly. Glancing again towards the comics in the back, he came to his decision. Comics like that always tended to have villians... wouldn't it be nice if... there was only one...
That thought in mind, Shinji popped the cap, tilted the vial back, and swallowed.
"Well," Said the surprised Wizard. "That's one way of doing things..."
