Almost enough that he missed the sound of a familiar and welcomed voice. "Ryouga!"
Twisting in his seat to look at the person who'd called his voice, he smiled. "Akari!"
"So this is where you've been," his wife commented as she came over to the table.
"Well... yeah. I sort of got lost on account of an idiot dog catcher. How'd you find me?"
"I had some of the local shoppkeepers keep an eye out for you just in case. So what are you doing here?"
"Umm... After I got the dog back from the moron, I saw that we were sort of... lost, and so I decided to go and call you for a pick up. But when I went to do that, I saw a familiar face and had to talk to her."
"Who?"
"Her," he told his wife and nodded at the girl across from him.
Akari turned... and gasped. "That hair... could it be..?"

"You... do?"
"Certainly. Now, you're going to stay at our home and that's final. Your mother would never have forgiven me if I had simply tossed you out on the streets and I wouldn't have forgiven myself either."
"You want me to stay with you?"
"Yes. All we have to do is pay for the meal that you two ate and we can be on our way, okay?"
Mutely, Coriander nodded in the onslaught of motherly attention.
"Good. This won't be a moment," Akari told her with a smile while:
